I want to get my teeth whitened but i have a tongue ring.?

Do yuu knoe if the dentist will prefer to take it out because i am not trying to risk it closing. && How long is the process of teeth whitening, thanks.

It depends on the dentist... Some of them are uncomfortable doing dental work with a tongue ring in, but this is pretty minor stuff so most dentists will let you keep it in unless its in the way. Even if you do have to take it out it won't be long enough for your tongue to close up. Professional whitening takes a couple of sessions. Good Luck! =)

ok if a person has expensive teeth whitening trays from a dentist and drops one in the toilet...?

.....then washes it a whole lot and soaks it in alcohol then lets it completely dry and then washes it with soap again, is it ok to put it back in the person's mouth?

how do you whiten teeth without harming them?

see my teeth have always been the type of teeth that attract scum extremely easily. I brush and brush, but they're still yellow. How could I get them white without professionally whitening them or using white strips?

More abrasive toothpastes might help. Something like Pearl Drops. The bad news is, long term use can mean you are brushing your enamel away. Adding baking soda to your toothbrush is also increasing the abrasiveness of your toothpaste. It doesn't react chemically with your teeth, it just scrubs them harder. Or, my regular answer is......White paint and/or liquid paper!!

im finally taking off my braces for my senior year and i want to whiten my teeth... but i dont want to go get them profesionally done. anything good that really works because i dont want to waste money on things that dont work..

No overthecounter items work, you will waste your time and money, save a few bucks and get them done at a dentist, it can cost you about 200-350 dollars approximately and you will be sure they are white
