I used it twice a day following the instructions, using it before I brush in the morning and at night. Not only this, but the toothpaste I used was and still using it is Crest 3D white toothpaste. NONE OF THIS STUFF WORKS. You can feel the difference using this toothpaste, but the results show nothing. They say guaranteed whitening in 8 days, and thats total BS. As for the Listerine thats fake, does not work. So I'm deciding on spending $40 for the whitening strips by either Listerine/Crest, the so called "Advance 3D protection whitening" whatever. Should I get it, or will this be a waste? I just want something that can whitened my teeth, is that too much to ask.

Anything over the counter, be it the white strips, the mouthwash, the trays, etc, have a low concentration (~5%) of bleach/whitening solution. No matter what you use over the counter you may get only 1-2 shades lighter. Most people don't notice much of a difference, but if you want a to lighten up a little it's great. Otherwise, I suggest saving the $40-60 and put it toward professional zoom whitening or custom fit trays with very concentrated bleach (23%) and you'll get 7-9 shades lighter.

whitening strips for very sensitive teeth?
I have very sensitive teeth. I have used crest and other whitening strips, but they have caused my teeth to hurt very bad. Does any body know of a whitening strip or product for very sensitive teeth. I am also thinking about lumineers. does anyone have them. can they be financed? what are your payments if you financed them.?

Over using whitening products will make your teeth become sensitive. Simply use a toothpaste for sensitive teeth and cut down on the whitening process. Lumineers are a dumb idea-do some internet research on how long they stay "white" and could you afford to redo them every coupala years.

whitening with broken teeth?
i broke my two front teeth (completely) and had them filled. the fake part matches my teeth, which aren't yellow, but aren't as white as i'd like. my dentist told me i wouldn't be able to use home whitening methods, since my teeth would change colors but the fake part wouldn't. what can my dentist do for me to brighten my smile? also, about how much do you think it'd cost? i know dentists and insurance plans vary, but just a guess-timate. thank you!

To whiten your front teeth at this point your options arent easy.You can whiten and then have the fillings changed to match the new shade of your teeth. But removing a filling that doesnt need to be is never a great idea. There is also veneers or crowns both can be pretty pricey depending on who you have do it.And the teeth are ground down for these procedures to different degrees. I am not too familiar with the new Luminers you can check into that but i dont think your going to find anything cheap.Go for a consult with a cosmetic dentist they can give you exact prices and they specialize in this area.

You need to add a little hydrogen peroxide to the baking soda so it fizzes up into a paste and then brush on. The baking soda is good at removing any stains the the HP oxidizes the teeth to whiten. The combination works well. The results are not dramatic - as you'd expect from a Zoom or other professional teeth whitening.

While you are wearing braces you DO NOT want to whiten your teeth. If you were to whiten your teeth now the whitener will only whiten the enamel that is showing now and will not whiten the enamel that is under your braces. When you have your braces removed you will have all of these yellow squares on your teeth that were not whitened because of the braces covering that area up. If you try to whiten the yellow squares that are left on your teeth from the braces you will also whiten the area that wasn't covered thus the area that wasn't covered will end up being whiter then the area that was covered by your braces. Wait until the braces are removed then whiten your teeth. This way you will not have a problem whitening your teeth and having them be the same whiteness/color.
