I have tried the whitening strips and they weren't very effective, and I cant afford to have them professionally whitened right now... Any suggestions

Have you heard of that old baking soda trick? Try it. It might burn and be bitter, but it works. Try it ONCE a week for a month. Anymore than once a week will wear down the enamel on your teeth, revealing the unsightly grayish color under.... xxGoodLuckxx

What is the method in using baking soda/peroxide to whiten teeth?
How much to use? Before or after brushing with toothpaste? Or, use the mixture of the two instead of toothpaste?

Wet your toothbrush with peroxide and dip in baking soda. You can brush with this instead of toothpaste, but it does taste bad. Or you can gargle with peroxide before brushing. Another option is to make your own baking soda peroxide toothpaste. Just mix baking soda and peroxide, add some coconut oil for texture and mint oil for taste (it will still taste odd). Store in a dark colored squeeze bottle (peroxide breaks down in light).

What cheap items can i buy in Boots or Superdrug that will whiten my teeth well?
I was going to get Crest Whitening Strips online but i dont want to spend all that...is there anything from Boots/Superdrug that is cheap and works well? I already have Pearl Drops Hollywood Smile whitening toothpaste..but is there a better one??

Whitening products really arnt that good for your teeth, the ones that work well actually contain peroxide (yeah the same stuff you bleach your hair with) the problem is that they strip the top layers of your teeth so they will stain quicker after that... its a vicious circle! The easiest way to cheat is to use the wonderful NHS, just go to the dentist often (i go onces every 2 months for this) and they will give you a cheap and quick descale wizzy clean thing. the new NHS pricing actually makes it chaper than those horrid products and will make your teeth wonerful and healthy

How do you get a guy you are dating to get his teeth whitened?
I am not perfect nor do I claim to be, but I observe basic rudimentary hygiene and appearance standards. This guy I have been dating for a month takes really good care of himself, works out, is very clean, etc. but he has the brownest teeth I have ever seen in my life. I guess they are stained from coffee or whatever. I honestly don't know how he can't notice this, it is so obvious. He makes plenty of money, there's no reason he couldn't get this fixed. Even using those cheap white strips should work. How do I get him to get his teeth whitened? It is so offensive that I am thinking of breaking it off because its just such a turnoff.

Dentist Teeth Whitening?

Be really, really careful. I had it done (Zoom Whitening, I think it was) and it was the most painful thing I've felt in a while. They didn't say anything about a possibility of serious pain, but it came. It felt like little "zings", as though the nerves in my mouth were being ripped out. I did an internet search when I got home (I was suspicious of their claim that no one else had reported pain) and found forum after forum of people explaining their horrific experiences. Do your research, and check out a few nonbiased forums, because it hurt horribly for me. I had to leave before it was halfway done.
