How can i whiten my teeth fast?

I had braces so i couldnt clean my teeth the way i like to and now they are a bit more yellower than they used to be..what tips can you give me to get them REALLY white and shining fast?
--------------------
You know what really works for alot cheaper, baking soda and peroxide I usually just mix baking soda with water yuor gonna have to brush for 3-5 minutes though but thats better than an hour of whitestrips or i use baking soda with a little lemon juice i did this twice aday for 3 days and got even better results than Crest whitestrips Use baking soda with your toothpaste and brush normally. Rinse it away with water afterwards. Gargle with a small capful of peroxide and rinse thoroughly with water after brushing your teeth.

How do I handle using Hydrogen Peroxide, I want to whiten my teeth?

What percent should I get and do I need anything else? Can it be stored in room temperature? When does it expire usually? What should I be careful with when handling this chemical? When you brush you teeth, do you just put it on the tooth brush and brush? Is that it? I hear there are many methods.
--------------------
All right! You want to whiten your teeth by using Hydrogen Peroxide. Hydrogen Peroxide was used in the olden days but then it was stopped as a teeth whitener. I would not even dare to think of using it. Reasons: 1. It is a dirt and pus extractor. When a person rinses his mouth with it of course in the diluted form it does its job all right, but not without cost to your teeth. The usual 3% per cent Hydrogen Peroxide when diluted with water is so strong that it actually damages the tooth enamel, is highly corrosive, and it may even damage the mucous lining of the mouth permanently. I think this should be enough. Yes, you may use a good make teeth whitener strips, brush your mouth after every meal, floss your teeth, and use listerine diluted half with water. Rinsing your mouth with listerine morning and night stops plaque formation. You will see the results in just a few days. Best luck. Ruhullah

whitening teeth?

what is the best product for whitening teeth that is the most affective? i have tried crest white strips, but they dont really seem to do a whole lot. please tell me what you have tried to whiten your teeth and if you liked the results or not. thanks a bunch! :)
--------------------
im using aquafresh whitening trays right now and i just finished day 3 and they are already whiter. if you want to use them put the bottom tray in first, not the top (like it says) because its easy to hold it in place. also for most of the part its on your teeth clench your teeth so they stay in place. best of luck

What to do about saliva with teeth whitening trays?

Having purchased tooth whitening from my dentist for £250 I was given plastic trays to wear over night. These look like mouth guards. I was instructed to put a small blob of whitening gel from a syringe into the front of each tooth groove in the guard and then to leave them in over night. I've followed the instructions, however wearing the trays causes my mouth to fill with saliva and I'm worried that this is probably getting into the trays. Is this a normal problem? Will it effect the tooth whitening process? Can I swallow the saliva that builds up in my mouth whilst wearing the trays (I'm sure that I probably do automatically in my sleep!) The tooth whitening gel I was given is called "dental white beauty" and is 16% strength but the box was given to me by the dentist without any instructions in. Please help!
--------------------
The saliva is there all the time and at the same level but you swallow it automatically an are not aware that you are doing it. You need to learn to swallow as normal with the trays in place and try not to be so aware of it. Give it a couple more nights and it all should slip into place and not bother you so much.

Whitening your teeth with braces?

Okay well i have braces and my teeth seem to look a bit yellow but i brush and rinse twice a day i even use whitening toothpaste so i dont know what else to do?
--------------------
try baking soda lovey.. 1. Wet your toothbrush with cold water and dip it into baking soda. All of the bristles should be covered so that your toothbrush is white. 2. Brush your teeth for five minutes (spitting if necessary) two times a day. 3. Spit the baking soda toothpaste out and rinse your mouth clean with water. If there is a tingling or burning feeling in your mouth, this is perfectly normal. See "Warnings" for what might not be normal.

Baking soda teeth whitening question?

I already know that baking soda has been proven to whiten teeth, but im confused about why that happens, and how often i should do it. 10 points for best answers! Some say to apply it as many times you use toothpaste throughout a day (which i assume is about 3 times a day), others sware you should use it maybe 1 or 2 times a week. What is the final answer? Hows the best way of applying it too? (dipping your toothbrush in it? using it as a mouthwash?) and Why does it whiten your teeth? People say that it is wearing away at your enamel which is why it looks white, others say it really just gets rid of the crud on your teeth) please I need to know! reliable sources would be much appreciated Thanks guys!

This Should Help: Step 1. Use regular toothpaste to brush your teeth and rinse. Step 2. Fill a cup with clean water. Step 3. Get a small, disposable cup, a box of baking soda, hydrogen peroxide and a plastic spoon. Step 4. Spoon out approximately 2 tsp. of baking soda into the disposable cup. Measure out about 1 tsp. of hydrogen peroxide and pour it into the cup. Mix the two ingredients thoroughly. Add more baking soda or hydrogen peroxide until you have a paste with the consistency of regular toothpaste. Step 5. Add a drop or two of your favorite toothpaste into the cup for flavor. Mix all three ingredients. Step 6. Wet your toothbrush. Step 7. Dip the toothbrush into the paste. Get the paste on all sides of the toothbrush. Step 8. Brush your teeth with the paste. Step 9. Rinse your mouth well with the water from your pre-filled cup. Take small sips at a time and swish the water to remove all traces of the paste from your mouth. Step 10. Repeat once a week. Good Luck :)
