Are you supposed to brush your teeth after using Crest Whitening Strips?

I just took off my Crest Whitening Classic Strips, and it left a lot of gel on my teeth, I'm not sure if I'm supposed to brush my teeth after I take the strips off, or what not. It doesn't tell me on the package. If someone could help me out that'd be great! Thank you
