I've used Crest white strips but they kill my teeth. I would really like a fairly reasonable way to whiten my teeth since they are in desperate need of whitening. Any suggestions?

What is the best teeth whitening toothpaste?
I have somewhat white teeth but they could be better. I want to know what is the best toothpaste that makes your teeth whiter. What I am using now doesn't do much for me. It is " Crest Whitening Expressions". I have been using it for months now and nothing has changed. I brush my teeth twice a day and still, nothing.
So what is the best toothpaste for whitening teeth. Also is there anything else I can do to make them whiter. Use mouthwash or what?

Some good teeth whitening home remedies that work fast?
I have recently found that i cannot use the normal mouthwash and the type that says whitening anywhere on it because an ingredient in it causes my throat to swell. So i was wondering if there are any teeth whitening remedies that i can use or homemade mouthwash seeing as i cant use the storebrands. Please no rude comments, and yes i do brush my teeth 3 times a day 5 min each.

I was wondering what products are the best for teeth whitening?
First, what is a good whitening toothpaste?
Second, what is a good product to use for teeth whitening that doesn't leave my teeth extremely sensitive? I have heard from multiple people that a lot of the whitening strips leave your teeth very sensitive. Anyone have any experience with a whitening product that does not leave you with extremely sensitive teeth after?

i've heard that lots of times when people think they are whitening their teeth they are also stripping off their enamel. are their any teeth whitening systems out there that dont do that? (ex. do crest whitestrips do that to your teeth?)

Any over the counter or home remedies you can recommend for whitening teeth? Going to the dentist is too expensive an option.

I haven't heard of many home remedies. The only ones I know are brushing with lemon juice, baking soda or strawberries. But I wouldn't recommend these cos seriously they do more harm than good to your teeth.

You can purchase the drugstore version, but do yourself the favor of using them right after you get your teeth cleaned as any staining and buildup (tartar or plaque) will impede their ability to work. Also, don't use fluoride toothpaste before putting the strips on (same reason). The strips are probably your best low price alternative, much less than in office whitening or custom trays (about $500.00). Most whitening toothpastes just remove stain on the surfaces of your teeth and therefore are not so effective. Whatever method you use it will not whiten your teeth for life, as you age your teeth will get darker and may need to be whitened again.
