QUICK way to whiten teeth without having to buy anything?
Prom coming up next month, and I need to considerably whiten but can't buy the products.

1.Make sure you brush and floss every day. 2. Stop drinking or limit drinking coffee, tea, and cokes. If you do drink, follow with water. Drink alot of water to keep your mouth rinsed. 3. Limit any staining foods, tomato sauce, etc. Rinse with water again. 4. To try to remove stains from your teeth, you can use a paste of baking soda, salt (your mom should have these in the house) and the tiniest bit(I mean tiny) of hydrogen peroxide (if you do not have this in your house, it costs $0.60- $0.99 at the drugstore. Look in the bandaid aisle.) Brush your teeth with the paste GENTLY! (it will not taste great) and then rinse with water, and brush with the toothpaste. You can eliminate the hydrogen peroxide if you want. Hope that helps!

ever since i started to use this whitening crest mouth wash i feel like my teeth r more sensitive...?

There are several options to decrease the sensitivity. 1) Don't use the mouthwash as frequent (alternate with a non-whitening rinse) 2) use a toothpaste with fluoride in it (Sensodyne is best) and if you leave the paste in at night while sleeping (don't rinse) it'll work even better 3) take ibuprofen or other pain medication while using it... (I wouldn't do this though, it's just recommended while using bleaching trays or strips) Personally, I'd use a store bought whitening system like Crest Whitestrips or any other brand and just deal with the pain for 2 weeks than using the mouth rinse and having the pain for as long as you use it Don't worry, you're not ruining the enamel on your teeth either... whitening works because the peroxide acts as an "oxidizer" and just lifts the stains from the enamel layer of your teeth (kind of like detergent lifting stains from your shirts) and the enamel is left unharmed

Would my teeth become whiter if I used a sundbed at the same time as using Crest Whitestrips?
I know that dentists use UV light in the whitening process and I have a product called Britey Whitez by Fiesta Sun that is used to whiten your teeth as you tan and is activated by the UV light, I wondered if the whitestrips would have the same affect as they have more whhtening ingredient than Britey Whitez!

use baking soda infact arm and hammer has a great tooth paste and it whitened my teeth.you could also use crest whitening strips but not too often because it weekens your teeth. and i know this sounds super gross but you should try brushing your teeth with dove soep.it really works after a few weeks you could even look it up it does work.but use that for only your teeth then wash your mouth with toothpaste afterward like you would noramaly do.for some reason the soep gets rid of plaqe better than a toothbrush. also never use salt it eats away at your enamle and drinks .also if you ask this question on google you ind a lot of answers from other peoples yahoo's,you might find my answers are all the same for whitening.oh and too much coffe really is hard on your teeth. in pharmacys they cell these weird mini tooth brushes for people who are on the go.whenever you are done drinking coffi you can brush your teeth with it.good luck

Baking soda is also good for your gums and kills the bad bacteria. Helps if you have bad breath too. I used it a few times and liked the results. But you need to use it more often to see good results.

Should i whiten my teeth if i still drink coffee?

Best brand - I liked Crest whitestrips, and also Go Smile...I got the whitestrips at the store (Target, Walgreens, Walmart..etc) I bought the Go Smile kit on Ebay...Go smile is a little more pricey, but its wonderful, and easy! 2.) Any of the at home whitening kits anymore are strips - they have new trays that Ive wanted to try -Aquafresh white trays...but The strips are great and soo easy! 3.) You should start whenever you want! It will take about 2 weeks to get the full results...so :) start soon. 4.) It does not hurt at all - the only thing that hurt was the white strips a little - like, try not to get them on your gums that much, cuz the chemicals they use in the white strips can burn your gums a little, and it doesnt hurt bad, its just more annoying, if you get a little burn it will go away in a day...over all its totally worth it!! Good luck :) you'll love your new smile!!

Also they sell teeth whitening sticks in Boots for around €20, they will help afterwards. my dentist, Denis Kirrsk based on O'Connell Street. Whitening my Teeth; please help !?
I just wanted to know; when I put 2 listerine whitening strips on my teeth (1 for top teeth 1 for bottom teeth), am I supposed to swallow what melts? Because when I leave it there, the wetness of my mouth usually makes it melt and then I'm basically forced to swallow it. Or am I supposed to like keep my mouth dry?

Well I would just try to keep my mouth as dry as possible before putting them on since your spit is what wears the strips down after a while, which is why you take them off since they don't work anymore. But it should be fine to swallow a little.

Do whitening drops ruin your tooth enamel?
I want my teeth a tiny bit whiter but I heard somewhere that whitening drops ruin your tooth enamel, is this true? Are there any whitening drops you recommend that are available in drug stores in England? I don't want anything too drastic, no denist treatments or anything. Btw, its just subtle whitening- not like Simon Cowell !! Thanks!
