I'm not worried about the pain but ive read that Zoom! whitening is a joke and doesn't work very well. Is it just not true that you can just go into a dentist office and get whitening and get perfectly white teeth? Thanks.
--------------------
I've only ever used the gel, but the dentist I went to for my whitening trays offered some kind of laser treatment. She said it worked as well as the trays, except in 30 minutes as compared to 2 weeks. It would have cost me $200 but she was a family friend so I don't know how much the treatment really costs. I was very happy with how the trays worked though, and I still use them every few months for a few days at a time with gel refills I bought from the dentist.

Which product should i use to whiten my teeth?
Quick Look Plus White 5 Minute Speed Whitening Gel or Crest 3D white strips? Which product works better on yellow teeth to make them white? And yes, i do brush my teeth twice a day and i floss.
--------------------
I tried the crest white strips but found them to be a pain in the *** to keep on. You can try this product for free from market health and if it sucks just cancel your order. I do that kind of stuff all the time. http://mhlnk.com/4EC5E743

Will getting teeth whitened remove white stains?
Ok so my sister has a white stain on her front tooth. So yeah I guess her teeth are yellow but thats not the point.. If she goes to a dentist and gets her teeth whitened will it remove the stain?
--------------------
Using tooth whitening strips can result you from removal of stains. Rubbing the teeth with strawberry or bark of walnut tree would remove the tooth stains. Drinking water after having anything would prevent teeth from stains. These are some of the tips to be implemented to get rid of teeth stains. But make sure that she doesn't take excess of tea, coffee, soft drink, etc. Avoid taking too hot or too cool drinks.

having white teeth can entirely change your life. having a nice and bright smile can bring many friends and you can become very open and confident socially, but consulting a dental expert is the best thing you can do to be able to start restoring white teeth. he might be able to suggest a good, effective and safe teeth whitening treatments that is suitable to for your teeth. next is be able to distinguish the foods that can stain your teeth and the beverages you take in that can promote tooth stain like colas, coffee, tea, chocolates and sauces. be able to refrain from taking them and if not, you can always do proper brushing and flossing to remove the stains on your teeth after a meal. for more tips visit about getting whiter teeth visit http://www.trustedhealthproducts.com

i was reading one of the answers to a question, and it said white acrylic paint will work on your teeth. is that true? or will it harm me
--------------------
Uhm.. Just buy some Crest whitening strips. It's not too pricey and you'll avoid the paint. I would never use that on my teeth, it doesn't sound safe nor hygenic and it's probably only temporary.

how many times a day do you use baking soda to whiten teeth?
I wanted to try using baking soda to whiten my teeth, but how many times a day should I use it?
--------------------
My dentist told me that you shouldn't use baking soda more than once a week because it is abrasive to the teeth and you are gradually wearing the enamel away. You'd be better using a peroxide based bleaching kit.

Is there a natural way to whiten teeth?
I'd like to have whiter teeth, but I don't have the money for over-the-counter products. (and I heard they don't work) Is there a fruit or some kind of food that will whiten teeth naturally?

Strawberries, apples and carrots all have great teeth whitening properties. I attached an article from ehow that explains how to include them in your routine. Good luck and cerely is a great natural floss so include that in your diet as well.

I want to get my teeth whitened, what does it feel like?
I want/need to get my teeth whitened, but I'm scared abit, what do they do, do you put anything in my mouth, does it feel sensitive? I'm getting it done at the dentist as it's better that way, so please help! Thankz :-)
--------------------
The actual procedure after checking if your teeth have no cavities and plaque build-up goes like this. First they brush your teeth with a prophylactic paste to clean it, wash it off and dry your teeth and gums. They then place a cheek retractor so that your lips don't touch your teeth and gums. A gum barrier is placed to protect your gums from the whitening solution. If it touches your gums, it will sting and turn white. It turning white is temporary. Once your teeth are properly isolated, they mix the solution then place it on your teeth. Depending on the kit they use, they will use a light machine or simply just place the mixed solution on your teeth. After they simply just suck out the solution, then wash your teeth and pull out the gum barrier. The entire procedure should last about an hour to two hours. Discomfort can be from your mouth being open during that time and you can't really move alot. So you have to be patient. Some patients feel sensitivity during the whitening process but it is bearable. You can take a pain reliever before the procedure. Patients usually feel sensitivty one to two days after and can't eat anything that can stain their teeth like red wine, tomato based pasta sauces, etc.. You can check online reviews on the kit of your Dentist if you know what they are using.

any miracles for whitening teeth?
I have been using every brand of teeth whitener the stores have for years..it helps my teeth stay there whitest but I want to know if anyone has any tricks that I can do at home with out buying products..I care about my teeth because the has been tooth loss in my family and so far mine are o.k..my teeth show quite a bit when I smile so I like for them to look there best
--------------------
my father's a dentist, and to be quite honest the only answer is to brush and floss regularly. if you really want your teeth to look their whitest, go to your local drug store and find the teeth whitening sugar free gum. by using all of those products, you may be getting a whiter shine fo your teeth but you're also damaging them. the chemicals used in those tooth whiteners also weaken your teeth, perhaps causing you to lose your teeth sooner than others. the best thing to do is buy the gum, brush your teeth twice a day, floss whenever you can (dont go too hard on the gums!) and in a few days (3-7) your teeth will be at its best state.

Is there any household things that I can do to make my teeth whiter? I usually brush 1-2 times a day. Some Listerine mouthwash If I'm in a hurry. Only things I can find at a normal household, not some fancy cleaner I have to go to a store to get.

Hi, Lot of people do face problems with yellow teeth. The reason for yellow teeth can be less calcium, smoking or coffee. Some people face problems like yellow to faint yellow teeth also because of too much brushing or using products which harm teeth. While baking soda or peroxide can make your teeth white but it is not recommended. Dentists world over do not recommend use of such pure form substances on teeth as they harm your teeth in longer run. Not all whitening trays are good, in fact many people have complained about irritation and pain with trays. Yellow teeth are not always unhealthy while bright white teeth can be unhealthy. Lot of people want white teeth so that they can smile big and don't get embarrassed while talking to friends and colleagues. Such people can use teeth whitening pens which are 100% safe for your teeth. The best thing about these products is that you can easily get FREE trial to have white teeth. You may order your free trials and have white teeth. You just have to pay for the shipping and handling. Its always better to try before you buy and I am sure it will work for everyone including you. BTW the website where you can get such free samples is http://tinyurl.com/freewhiteteeth I am not promoting the website nor am I associated with it in any manner. Just trying to help someone who is worried about bad/yellow teeth. Hope this helps. Thanx :-)

Hi, I would recommend you to consult a doctor before the using of any medicine for the teeth. If you want to know more you can ask the doctor on this site or send him a letter. He will help to find your own treatment. The link is http://qpills.net/dental-whitening/questions.html For free, of course.

Do the take home teeth bleach/whitening kits from the dentist hurt?
Hi, I just got my braces off (For the second time!), and my teeth are not as white as I want them to be. I don't want to shell out the $500 for in-office whitening, but rather the $200 for the equivalent take home kit prescribed by the dentist. I was talking to one of my dentist's assistants and she was saying it burns and my teeth are sensitive for weeks. She also did not give me a good answer for how long it lasts! The information I found the internet varies considerably, so I've come to yahoo for help. Do these kits hurt? How bad? How long does it take for these kits to work? Is it over night or once a day hourly? Thank you!
--------------------
They dont burn your mouth or anything, it is basically a tray that is made especially to fit your mouth, and some syringes with the bleach in them to use with the tray. They can make teeth sensitive but not always. I am from the UK and my dentist always advises using the home kits from the chemist first, as it is cheaper and is pretty much the same, the only difference being that the trays are universal and not made especially to fit your mouth, and the bleach isn't quite as strong.

What are the best home remedies to use to whiten teeth?
I have heard people mention bakin soda or peroxide to whiten teeth.. I would like to whiten mine but I dnt have the money to do it professional.. can someone please help me.. thank you

Whitening strips. They aren't too expensive and work just as well as the real thing. I bought the listerine dissolving strips. They stay on your teeth really well. Do it at home, though. They don't really go away completely. Also, after meals chew a whitening gum. Orbit White worked great for me, just chew 2 pieces after a meal. Buy the big-e-pak because you're going to need a lot of them. Do this for 2 weeks straight and then stop and don't whiten your teeth again for a few months. If your teeth get sensitive, use only one strip a day instead of 2

Dentist Teeth Whitening?
So I really don't have any experience in this kind of thing, so you guys are going to have to answer my question like I was in grade 2. So I decided to get my Teeth Whitened from the Dentist, but I don't really know how I can make an appointment, or anything of that sort. So I'm going to need step by step directions on what to do! For Example: 1. First of all, what am I even looking for? A dental office? A dental clinic? I don't even know what it's called. 2. How do I find a phone number or address for this kind of thing. 3. How do I make an appointment. and so on. Thanks in advance for all the answers! (I know, I'm an idiot~)
--------------------
I would start by asking people you know what dentist they go to, unless you don't want anyone to know you are thinking on whitening your teeth. Then, look in the yellow pages for DENTISTS. Most dental offices can do teeth whitening. If you live in a metro area there are probably hundreds to pick from. If you want to narrow your search look for Cosmetic Dentistry, but any general dental office with hygienists should be able to provide that service. Once you find the dental listings, just start with calling any one of them. Be up front and tell them you are a new patient and you have questions regarding teeth whitening, the steps involved, and more importantly, ask how much it will cost. Generally, in the dental office, the first appointment will start with an exam. They may want to schedule a cleaning (prophylaxis) before doing any whitening. The steps usually involve impressions to make a tray that fits your teeth exactly and then providing you with tubes or syringes with the whitening material that you will place in the tray and wear over night. There may be a weeks worth in a kit. There may be some more advanced techniques but they will certainly cost more. Insurance companies do not pay for teeth whitening. Some of the over-the-counter teeth whitening strips work pretty well. You want to be careful though of the coverage area because you don't want to get the whitening material on your gums for any great length of time. Check the ingredients and the procedure. One, other thing. If you have any composite fillings (white colored fillings) or porcelain crowns, the whitening material doesn't work on those. Good luck.

Opalescence teeth whitening?
I started using this stuff at home with the trays. Am only one week through my treatment. It is taking me forever to finish because I keep stopping due to how sensitive my teeth become. I notice my teeth are lighter, but not as light as I thought they would be. Any advice from other people how used this? Did you get great results? Do you think it will be better for me after another week of bleaching?
--------------------
I have used Opalescence and it does take a long time but it works very well. You should start using a toothpaste for sensitive teeth while you are bleaching. It will help out with your teeth being so sensitive.

whitening of teeth . Anyone knows more information about whitening of teeth? any advices? how?
Can you find a solution for bright teeth? I've seen people in everyday life, not just celebrities that have really good white teeth. Is this because they avoid food staining products like sodas? Any bright teeth products I can use that has worked for you?

For tooth whitening system, avoid as much as you can dark drinks like coffee, tea, coke, grape juice, also cherries can stain them but in the other hand strawberries will make them whiter if you rub them on your teeth. I don't know why but it works. If you want something that really works, get a free trial of teeth whitening kits online. They're like the white strips but better. My parents got the trial, used it and now I feel bad smiling next to them. This will definitely solve your tooth whitening system question.
