How on earth do I whiten my teeth?
I used to have generally whitish teeth. But after exams and falling asleep by accident when revising, I neglected brushing my teeth at night for a while (guilty :P) After exams, I did brush my teeth well at night. But when I checked my teeth, my teeth were freaking yellow and pretty grimy looking?! although I did brush thouroughly...how can I make it white again?

to me, i have really nasty yellow teeth. i dont know if its just because im self conscious about it but, ive been using colgate..the orange kind of toothpaste and its not doing anything to whiten my teeth. please help me out! i hate smiling in pics because of my teeth being so nasty! anything will help! brush with baking soda or peroxide (be careful not to swallow either of them.) For me, first I brush with my regular toothpaste. Then I put about about a teaspoon of baking soda in a dish and mix it with a few drops of water until it's kind of a paste. Then I brush it very thoroughly on my teeth with my regular toothbrush. You can also dip your toothbrush in peroxide and brush with that. Be sure to rinse thoroughly after either method. In my opinion, these are the most effective ways to whiten teeth, and the least expensive.

I'm getting back into the dating world after a long-term relationship... I'm pretty rusty and rough around the edges, so I need all the help I can get! in order for your teeth to whiten with vinegar, peroxide, or baking soda, how long do you keep it in your mout?
is it just the brushing with these items for at least 2 minutes that will whiten, or do you have to soak your mouth for like 10 mins or something...per day, per session?

What i think is best is what my dentist told me to do brush your teeth with your toothpaste rinse your mouth then, wet your tooth brush and dip it into baking soda brush your teeth and let it sit on for about 3 minutes then rinse it off. if you do it everyday after about a month ull see results!! I did once. The problem is with the trays. They aren't custom fitted like the ones your dentist will make you. This allows for the bleach to spill out over your gums and/or not be on your teeth completely or evenly. I know they are a lot cheaper. Not sure what the percentage of bleach is in them either. The bleach I have from my dentist is 20%.

Actually, this is a funky idea, but it will not damage your teeth, gums or mouth (won't taste too good, but it will work). Put an Alka Seltzer in your mouth then add a 1/3 - 1/2 cup of vinegar. The Alka seltzer will fizz up like crazy and all those lovely bubbles will take stains off your teeth like there was no tomorrow (this also works on the inside of dirty thermoses and hard to scrub toilet spots too). It will feel funky and you should probably rinse your mouth out afterwards (but neither vinegar or Alka Seltzer can ever damage your mouth or teeth!). Do this ince a day for 3 days, you should see some difference.

You can also use special tooth whitening bleach i know some people use regular bleach but just a little bit but i wouldnt try it, Good luck :D
