Can I let whitening tooth paste on my teeth?
Weird question, but I have whitening tooth paste.. Do you think if I put in on my teeth and let it sit for like 10 min or whatever that it would whiting my teeth better and faster than just brushing everyday? Crest whitening strips hurt my teeth!

Are certified teeth whitening places like Bleach Bright in the mall legit?
I want to get my teeth whitened and dont want to spend a thousand dollars to go to the dentist to get it done. They just opened up this new place in the mall called Bleach Bright. Has anyone ever heard or used this? I dont want my teeth to fall out......

I would not go there!! There are no Dentists working there in case something goes wrong. I am not saying something will but you never know what could happen. I don't know there prices but at our office it is 350 for teeth whitening with in the hour. It is called zoom and it works awesome!!

Any ideas for teeth whitening at home that won't harm your teeth?
I've heard of baking soda, vinegar, lemon, etc. but all of these have an acidity factor which can harm your teeth in the long run. Does anyone know other ways to whiten teeth without damaging them?

I bought a teeth whitening kit at Wal-Mart and it didn't work. Can I take it back?
I bought this Luster 1 Hour White whitening kit at Wal-Mart, and followed the directions to the T. After much investigation, though, my teeth are absolutely no whiter. Will Wal-mart take the product back even though it has been used? The box doesn't say anything about a money back guarantee but I am pretty sure Wal-Mart itself has some sort of Satisfaction Guarantee. So will they take it back or am I stuck?

I believe that your case is legit but it's sad how many people abuse this policy. To make it simple, Yes they will take it. But from an employee stand point I would contact the company first (remember walmart dosen't make these products, just sells them) instead of causing the store to take the loss.

I hope you're not going crazy with the whitening, especially if you're young. Whitening your teeth will make them sensitive, and teeth aren't meant to be really white anyway. Don't buy into all the crap that people want to sell you after they convince you that what you have naturally isn't good enough.

Question about teeth whitening product: is what I'm doing safe?
I am using whitening strips that supposedly fit around your teeth. They have whitening gel on them. Now, the whitening strips do not fit around my bottom teeth, as I have a permanent retainer behind my front bottom teeth which the strips cannot fold over. As a result, part of the gel is exposed, and comes into contact with my saliva and tongue, thus, causing me to swallow it. Is this unsafe? Should I not use this teeth-whitening method?

those whitening strips or gels whiten teeth really well. toothpaste probably won't help. i'd use crest white strips or whitening gel. it's super cheap and works really well. it will take one or two weeks but sometimes that's probably necessary if you don't want to hurt your teeth with a formula that's too strong.

The results vary for every patient. If your teeth look yellow they will lighten but if your teeth look more grey or brown you won't get good results. Most offices also offer trays custom made for your mouth and will run you about $200-350. You wear the trays, like a mouthguard, for an hour day to overnight. Most people think this isn't bad but then they never wear them. You can try over the counter for probably about $60. If I was to whiten this would be what I would do, unless you want to waste your money and go for the inoffice. You can buy a lot of strips for $600. Becareful because it can get addictive and you can ruin your teeth. You can also ask your dental office if the have strips that you can buy, like crest or listerine strips. They will be a little stronger in the office than over the counter.
