I am going to be going to the dentist for a professional teeth cleaning. I would like to have a mold of my teeth taken for a whitening kit. How does this whitening kit work? Do I just squirt the bleach in there?

You put the bleach in a whitening tray then you put it on your teeth. I suggest you don't get your teeth whitened this way. My friend used whitening trays....once. If you accidently get the bleach not on your teeth, it is EXTREMELY painful, and it is more than likely you will do this. Try go smile, or a whitening toothpaste.

How to fix the stripped enamel on my teeth? I used whitening strips and my 2 front teeth are no stripped?
in some spots :( When i look at them up close they are like see through. But when looking from a distance it looks brown where its stripped. So embarrassing! Looks worse than they ever did before trying to whiten :( Anyone know of any remedies for this problem? Thanks in advance!

Hydrogen peroxide for teeth whitening?
I have a friend who swears that her pearly whites are the result of hydrogen peroxide( I have seen her in action,she uses this stuff 3 times a day) isn't hydrogen peroxide bad for your teeth in some way? I have to say her teeth look really really good and she is not the product of good clean living and she smokes. Is it safe to use or rinse with hydrogen peroxide? She swears by it,Is it safe?

Has anybody used 'Whiter than White' £99 teeth whitening kit.?
I am thinking about buying a home teeth whitening kit and thinking about getting this one 'Whiter than White'. Just wanted to know if anyone else has used it and what the results were like. Why do you have to be over eighteen to have your teeth whitened/bleached with an at-home kit?
i really want to have snow white teeth and they have tooth whitening kits on sale but they all say on them you have to be over eighteen. why? can it harm your teeth? i'm not gonna get it done if it does but how does it damage them? i'd just like to know thanks.

Shouldn't brushing your teeth better keep the effects that whitening strips had on them?
I mean, the whiteness of my teeth faded because I was slack on brushing, plus all the wine I was drinking and the smoking. So i used some crest whitening strips and they whitened up nicely. I had Zoom Whitining done today at the Dentist office and it did a really good job, but WOW my teeth are super sensitive now. Some of them are even throbbing, is this normal and how long will it last?

Take some ibuprofen to help take off the edge. avoid anything too cold or sweet. and avoid staining things like coke coffee smoking etc. Bleach really drys out your teeth and it will take a little while for the enamel to take up fluid again so stick to water and clear stuff.

Okay I'll admit I've been whitening my teeth since I was a freshman in high school. First I bought the store kind, then my junior year my parents let me do it at a dentist, which is way better than the store kind. Since then, I get it done professionally like once a year. I've been reading around for teeth whitening methods, and I found that many sites suggested that brushing the teeth with baking soda was a quick and cheap method to get rid of yellow teeth. Does baking soda actually whiten the teeth? and is it in any way bad for you?
