I want an inexpensive easy way to whiten my teeth.Help please
--------------------
If you really specifically want an inexpensive but easy way to whiten your teeth, that actually works too. Try the free trial of 'teeth whiten tips' that is available now at the link below, I tried it and it made my teeth 3-5 shades lighter after 2 weeks of use. It's really easy to use too, not like the strips some company's offer. Hope this helps.

Tips for teeth whitening?
I've just had braces removed and i've noticed that my teeth are quite a yellowish shade. I'm becoming really self conscious about this and would like my teeth whitened professionally but the prices are far too high for my budget. I've heard about using bicarbonate of soda and hydrogen peroxide but i've also heard a lot of warnings about this and i doubt i'd manage to get hold of any hydrogen peroxide anyway. Does anyone have any good tips of how to make teeth appear whiter? Thanks :)
--------------------
honestly the best and healthiest way to whiten your teeth will always be to have the done professionally. The crest whitestips and others brands do work but they can make your teeth VERY sensitive to cold and sweet. Try them out, see how it effects you. But if it bothers you too much, and it is that important to you, I think you should save up and have it done professionally.

Teeth whitening with a cap?
I have a cap on one of my teeth and it's matched to the color of the rest. I want to get my teeth whitened, but I'm worried about that tooth. What would happen?
--------------------
Crowns, bridges and dentures cannot be bleached/whitened.. what you see is what you get. If it's a molar, you should be fine, since the only way someone may slightly notice the difference is when you give a 'full-belly' laugh... meaning your head goes back and your mouth is opened as you're laughing... If it's a front tooth, you could have the crown replaced to match the whitening shade, but keep in mind that whitening does not last.... so the crown may be whiter than the rest of the teeth in the long run should you choose to replace it.. Do you really need to have them whitened? It's definitely a decision that needs a thought-process before considering.. Best of luck to you~

Teeth whitening strips?
I've heard you can buy tooth whitening strips? How do these work and where can I find them? Are the expensive? Links please.
--------------------
They are a reasonable price, about $20 bucks or less now. They are sort of messy, but are great. They really do whiten. You can get almost any brand at a story like Walmart or Target. I'd recommend Crest.

what is the average cost of teeth whitening at the dentist office.?
i need an estamate cost.
--------------------
Er, the Zoom! 2 whitening, dentist-supervised one hour whitening, both top & bottom teeth, is $700 - $750. I think the other people who have responded so far are referring to the take-home whitening gel you can get from the dentist. A custom made tray cost my husband $100, I think? The bleaching gel was an additional cost. It takes a couple weeks, an hour a day, to get results.

Age for teeth whitening?
My dentist said that one cannot use teeth whitening products or treatments until age 16 but online I have seen age 14 as the minimum more often. So should I really wait until I'm sixteen or go ahead and do it now at age 14?
--------------------
ive also talked to my dentist about it, as long as your teeth have fully matured then there shouldnt be any harm in it, the one thing they worry about is if you do it too early you can damage the enamel with the bleach which can cause cavities

Are crest whitening strips good for your teeth and do they work?
Or is it bad for the enamel?
--------------------
As for if they're bad? Not sure...Probably. Do they work? Yes...they worked for me. I used to use them 3-4 times a week. (I have sensitive teeth so I couldn't use them every day or my teeth would be extremely sensitive) I'd get compliments about how white my teeth were all the time. Even now I do (and I haven't used them for about 1.5 yrs).

Does baking soda and hydrogen peroxide whiten teeth?
How can I make my teeth whiter?
I broke my two front teeth when i was 13. I have had my root canal done and whitening a few years ago. But now i dont have the money to get whitening or crowns. Please let me know what might work for my teeth to become whiter. I know the strips dont work because my teeth are dead.
--------------------
At this point, no whitening product will work because the tooth is becoming discolored from the inside. The only thing to fix this is crowns. You should look for a dentist who offers financing or look into a discount plan like Careington which will give you a lot off for going to an in-network provider.

Lemon juice, baking soda or baking powder can also be used for teeth whitening. Strawberries are natural teeth whiteners, simply rub them directly on your teeth or mash into a paste and apply. Apple cider vinegar can also be used for teeth whitening. More remedies and information regarding your teeth at http://useinfo-teethwhitening.blogspot.c

How can I make my teeth whiter naturally?
I tried those Whitening strips you buy at the pharmacy but they're so yucky and make my stomach hurt afterward. There must be an alternative to whiter looking teeth?
--------------------
If you want good teeth health, I would say to avoid whitening products or home whitening remedies. Because this will not solve your problem in the long term, and the results won't last long. When I used whitening products my teeth would get whiter for a few days, then become even more yellow a week later. They would also become more weak and brittle. The potential harm to your teeth is not worth it. Most whitening products contain peroxide which erodes your enamel. You might want to brush your teeth less often (once or twice a day is plenty), don't brush too hard and get a good toothpaste with natural ingredients. Also try to limit mouthwash use. Usually when your teeth are turning yellow it means your enamel is wearing and this causes the dentin underneath the enamel to appear (dentin is yellowy colored). Sometimes this happens because your body is deficient in calcium and so your teeth demineralize to supply minerals to the rest of your bones in the body. So you will want to start eating a more nutritious diet, get calcium from spinach, milk, butter etc. Fish and liver are also good for bone health. Try sushi. And eat lots of fat soluable vitamins. Also eat nuts, berries, apples, and olive oil. Apples contain pectin which can be a natural teeth whitener. Foods to avoid : processed foods, carbohydrates (especially refined carbs - white bread , white pasta, etc), sugar, soda, candy/chocolate, cookies, cakes, you know the rest. Also what I did was change my diet, start drinking milk more occasionally and swish the milk around in my mouth, like a mouthwash. It actually does whiten your teeth as weird as it sounds.

What's something good to us to whiten your teeth without going to the dentist?
What have you had good results with?
--------------------
To start with the best and easiest way is to see your dentist for a cleaning. They can remove the stains caused from the coffee, tea and smoking. Then the rest is up to your home care in keeping the stains off. Once you get the stains removed, it will be a lot easier to keep them off! Using a soft toothbrush and whitening toothpaste can do wonders alone, but sometimes you need a little extra help. The only thing I've seen used over the counter that gives lasting and excellent results is the Rembrandt Toothpaste. Especially if you start using it after a cleaning. It is good at removing the tough stains and helping to keep them off. It's not as abrasive as most of the others on the market. As for the strips, they will give you the white, but they are only temporary. I've had people who have used them and in 2 weeks, right back to original shade. In one case the patient had bleached with them just before we did a crown. During the time it took for the crown to be made at the lab, her teeth had darkened back to her normal shade. She then opted to have us do her bleaching before we put her permanent crown on. If you want the hollywood white, then talk to the dentist about home bleaching. He/she will suggest two different methods that are known to work well. One is bleaching trays that are custom made from impressions taken of your teeth. These work with a solution the dentist provides for you. The other is the in house, or one hour bleaching method that the doctor or his assistant preforms at the office. The custom trays ususally takes a few minutes to a couple of hours a day for about two weeks to reach your desired results. Most patients I've found love this type of whitening. It allows them the freedom to judge when they need to "touch up" by bleaching whenever they feel their teeth have gotten stained from time, coffee, tea, wines and other things. It also allows them to touch up again months, or years down the road. The average cost of this is around $200-400. It's the method of bleaching I've used for over 15 years now, and I highly recommend this one. Then there is the one hour system that the dentist does in his office, it's quiet expensive though, somewhere around the $600-$700 area. Some dentist don't use it or recomend it due to the sensitivity it causes. It's bleaching usually last for a couple of years and requires touch up with bleaching pens and mouthwashes which are expensive too. This gives you the instant white but the results aren't lasting. So, it's really up to you and how much you want to spend to get those "pearly" whites. I would check around on the prices in your area. But the key question is, are you willing to maintain it, with regular appointments with your dentist and diligent home care? Talk to your dentist, they can answer all of your questions. Good luck!

Supersmile, you can find it a sephora or bath and body works, or QVC a little price but its simple and it works, because all your doing is brushing your teeth. Works like a charm I use it and every one always comments on my teeth, it won't make them fake white, just bright and gleamy, and perfect.

How often should I do my whitening strips?
I bough a 112 strips of Crest Whitening Strips Classic. How often in a day should I do them and for how long? I brush my teeth my Arm and Hammer toothpaste with Baking soda and Peroxide. Should I also buy the Crest 3D whitening mouth wash? For some reason my teeth are still yellow even though I brush them 2-3 times a day. So I want to try the mouth wash and whitening strips.

What do the directions say? I used to use them once a day for about 15 min. for 2 weeks and my teeth were white as new. I was a cocacola addict but went down from drinking 4-5 a day to 1-2 every two days. My teeth are much better looking and my acne is also cleaner. Just keep it up and they should get better, good luck! :)
