They are however very hard to keep in place and some of my patients say that they swallow some of the bleach which is actually carbamide peroxide. It will give them like an acid reflux type feeling for a little while. I prefer the rembrant products that acutally have a tray that you can mold to your teeth. the bleach comes in a syringe and you only need a little bit. The tray holds the bleach in place so your not accidentally swallowing it. It is slightly +/- $10 Also, be sure to wipe away any bleach that ends up on your gums with a guaze or a tissue. Long time exposure to your gum tissue will burn. Good luck and I hope this helps

Its pretty cool, because you can form the teeth trays to your own mouth and you don't have to worry so much, unlike the strips. Its about $20 but I always get it cheap at Target Greatland. Also, I love to brush my teeth with Rembrandt "Intense Stain" in the morning and use Crest "Vivid White Night" when I go to sleep.

You can purchase the drugstore version, but do yourself the favor of using them right after you get your teeth cleaned as any staining and buildup (tartar or plaque) will impede their ability to work. Also, don't use fluoride toothpaste before putting the strips on (same reason). The strips are probably your best low price alternative, much less than in office whitening or custom trays (about $500.00). I am also hearing happy reviews with the Aquafresh whitening trays, unlike the strips they don't have the tendency to slip or move). All of the methods (strips, trays, custom trays, in office whitening) have the potential to make your teeth temporarily sensitive, but will not harm the enamel. You might try to drink dark liquids through a straw and don't smoke. Most whitening toothpastes just remove stain on the surfaces of your teeth and therefore are not so effective. For some time now, I've really wanted to have teeth whitening done. In reading some of the posts here and on the net, I have real concerns about the home treatment or treatment at the dentist as from what I understand, these treatments do damage the enamel. As such, is there any other method I can use to get my teeth white. This practice after each and every meal can whiten teeth remarkably in two months. You should then continue this habit throughout your life. Or, try brushing with hydrogen peroxide. You can try brushing with hydrogen peroxide. I would recommend you not swallow any. Put a small puddle of peroxide into a Dixie cup. Cover the brush in peroxide by dipping the brush as you tilt the cup. Now brush thoroughly as with the baking soda. This type of brushing can be done once a day. Spit any fluids; don't swallow at any time while brushing with hydrogen peroxide. Check with the hydrogen peroxide manufacturer for degrees of warning for this use. Well crest strips will actually do more harm than good, so I say invest a little more and pick up a product called "Go Smile" (available at Sephora.Com) It's a little more than Crest stripes but worth it! If you purchase the "B1" series, you will see results after the first application. It's different for everyone but on average whitens up to ten shades in only 7 days when you use it twice a day. Plus, it won't eat offf your enamel like cheaper ones. They come in quick easy to use vials that you brush on for about 2 minutes and just avoid drinking or eating for 20 mintues after wards, beats sitting with your mouth open for 30 mintues (lol) It only costs $89 and will last much longer. Well crest strips will actually do more harm than good, so I say invest a little more and pick up a product called "Go Smile" (available at Sephora.Com) It's a little more than Crest stripes but worth it! If you purchase the "B1" series, you will see results after the first application. It's different for everyone but on average whitens up to ten shades in only 7 days when you use it twice a day. Plus, it won't eat offf your enamel like cheaper ones. Teeth Whitening?
I want to whiten my teeth-but I have a small problem. One of my teeth is false (I was born without it) and I don't know if whitening strips will whiten it as well. I don't want to spend lots of money on special treatments- something cheap preferably

My father used Crest White Strips which were pretty inexpensive and they really work. They are a bit uncomfortable but the results are so worth it. My dad also has a fake tooth and it whited it as well.

Teeth Whitening?
My teeth are not yellow, but they are a bit stained from all the tea and sticky stuff that i eat. Can anyone recommend a good whitening toothpaste that will get my teeth a few shades lighter than what they are now?

There is a lot of choices of tooth pastes that can help whiten your teeth,just choose one.What I also use is the new whitening mouth rinse from Crest.I use it in the morning and in the evening and I really see good results. You can try the whitening strips too at least to check how sensitive you will be to the bleaching material.If you are not,then you can go to the dentist's office and they'll whiten your teeth professionally, but if your teeth become too sensitive, like mine did, then I don't recommend it. Of course try to avoid, if possible, foods and drinks that stain your teeth-coffee, tea, red wine etc. I hope I helped,but really try that whitening mouth rinse, I was very satisfied!
