What other teeth whitening product works as well or better than crest White strips?
I used crest whitestrips and had fabulous results, my teeth looked great! Then after nine months they start to fade. Now I'm ready to either get crest white strips again, or if there is another product that whitens teeth better I would love to know :] thanks
--------------------
Crest white strips are by far the best over the counter whitener. Teeth stain very easily and if you drink alot of pop, coffee, or tea it happens faster. We usually tell people that whitening is not permanent and that they will have to repeat in 6 months to a year.

How old do you have to be for teeth whitening?
I'm 14 and I am about to have enough money to get my teeth whitened, I live in the UK and was wondering how old do you have to be, like is there a legal age, like cosmetic surgery? When I was younger I didn't brush my teeth properly because I was lazy, and now I drink too much coffee, so I kind of want to get them done as they look all yellow, let me know!
--------------------
It is not really rec commended that it is done at a young age likes yours as your teeth are still developing and not mature as is the rest of your body at 14. But talk to your dentist and se he will refer you to a hygienist for some really deep cleaning to get them all back up to scratch. He will also be able to tell you whether your teeth will be able to be whitened later on when you are an adult. Some teeth are a colour that will never whitened. So save your money until later on, put it somewhere to grow instead.

How long does teeth whitening usually last?
I am wanting to get my teeth whitened but I don't want to spend money on something that won't last. Does anyone know how long it will last!?
--------------------
Teeth whitening results is not permanent whether you have teeth whitening at home or professional teeth whitening In-Office. Usually your whitening teeth results can last 1 - 2 years after professional teeth whitening In-Office and your whitening teeth results can last 3 - 8 months after teeth whitening at home. Of cause the duration of your teeth whitening results depends largely upon your oral hygiene. 1. After teeth whitening treatment, patients should avoid foods that stain, such as tobacco, red wine and coffee for about a week. 2. Brush normally, especially after consuming staining foods or beverages such as coffee or tea. People who expose their teeth to foods and beverages that cause staining may see the whiteness start to fade in as little as 1 month. 3. If you smoke and want to whiten your teeth, you should consider to stop smoking in order to prevent the staining it causes. the site will give u a lot of help, u can check it 4 Way maintain white teeth after teeth whitening http://www.teethwhiteningbest.com/teeth-

What over-the-counter product works best for teeth-whitening at home?
I got my braces off a few months ago and now they're straight but they're still yellow :( To get the most out of my orthodontic treatment, I want to have really white, straight teeth. What products work best for home teeth-whitening? I'm thinking along the lines of Crest Whitestrips, Rembrandt White Trays, etc... nothing too expensive, but something effective. What's worked best for you guys? Thanks so much!

You can ask your dentist about having them whitened. It cost about $500.00 or try dazzle white, it works really great to get white teeth and the best thing you can try it for free. Visit this site, if you interested to learn more about it http://try-4-free-best-teeth-whitening.blogspot.com/

Definitely Crest White Strips, they work really well and you can find them at any drug store. Get the premium plus because they last longer. About $30 I didn't even finish the pack because my teeth were getting so white!

What teeth whitening product is better?
I am about to whiten my teeth and wanted to get some answers from people who have used some of these products before. I am debating on using the Dr. Collins All White System, or the crest white strips. I am leaning towards the Dr. Collins kit, because you get to create your own custom tray allowing the gel to get into the cracks of your teeth. Plus it seems like trays in general are easier to use then the strips. Please let me know what your experience has been. Thank you in advance.

Is there anyway to "naturally" whiten my teeth without using whitening toothpaste etc?
Is there anyway i can naturally whiten my teeth without using whitening toothpaste or without getting my teeth whitened? Can i just leave the toothpaste on my teeth and they will slightly whiten?
--------------------
If you don't want to use any artificial products, I would start by looking at your diet. Cut out any coffee, sodas, and black teas that you drink. These drinks can cause teeth to yellow and darken over time. If this is not enough I would try to use hydrogen peroxide and vinegar.

teeth whitening within a month - is it possible?
My prom is in a month, and I've always been self conscious that my teeth are a bit yellow, and I'd love a nice whitened smile to be confident with for once. Just wondered if there were any treatments, that aren't home made remedies, that people know work? Such as teeth whiteners or just good whitening toothpastes?
--------------------
1 - Go to your dentist to ask for a basic professional clean and polish. This includes removal of Calculus and extrinsix (outer) staining of your teeth. 2 - Modify your diet, avoid coffee, tea, etc foods and drinks will be the biggest cause of discoloured teeth. 3 - Improve your oral hygiene routine, with good toothbrushing technique and flossing. Dentists can provide you with home bleaching kits specially adapted to your mouth, and provide adequate support. This can be done well within a month. You could also have whitening done chairside, i.e. Zoom whitening. Whitening toothpastes are just very very abrasive toothpastes with sand like substances within them to remove EXTRINSIC stains only. It is in your interests to visit a dentist to identify your cause of yellowing teeth and as to what the best tips are for you.

It depends on where you are getting it done, each one charges accordingly. You can also try getting it done at home like whitening strips and home remedies to make it work out less. You can try this remedy and see if it helps. Apple cider vinegar can be used for teeth whitening, simply use it as a gargle diluted in a glass of water or add a few drops to your toothbrush and top it with toothpaste and brush

What do you recommend for teeth whitening?
I'm looking to whiten my teeth for real, and I'm looking for a really good product that works, and it would be nice if you included a before and after photo, but I understand that's a pain and it's not necessary. What is the brand and what type of product is it? Strips, gel, laser treatment, and tell me good and bad things about it please!(: Thanks!

I would recommend Dazzle White Pro. Nothing worked for me except for it! I am sooo glad I used it! My teeth are awesome now and it was totally painfree! It only cost me about 2$ and it was totally reliable! It only had 4 easy steps and a simple way to whiten with gel! Check it Out! Source(s): http://www.wisehealthbody.com/review/

In office teeth whitening and clear dental work?
Currently, I have two fillings on my two front teeth, (because one is chipped), a crown on the side top and a clear filling on the side bottom. I really, really want to get my teeth whiter by some type of in-office treatment. So I know i'll have to get my white fillings replaced to match it. My question is, has anyone ever done this or know how I can go about doing it? Would I be able to get at least the two front teeth done the same day as the whitening? How much does the in-office whitening cost? (i already have the at home whitening, but stopped using when i got the clear front fillings.)
--------------------
1. Go back to using your home whitening kit. Ask for stronger solution if you feel you are not getting results. 2. When you feel your shade is as light as it can get, then get the fillings redone to match the new lighter shade. 3. In-office whitening can be as high as $650, and yes it can hurt for a few hours afterwards. I personally don't think the results are that much better than the take-home kind.

Hi my friend, This is probably not what you were expecting to hear, but please be open-minded and hear me out because I want to help you. My dentist told me $400 for the trays of professional whitener professionally molded to the shape of your teeth. ($200 top, $200 bottom) but if I wait until January, it's discounted to only $300 ($150 top, $150 bottom) My dentist also offers Zoom which uses light to whiten, but that costs $800 and does the same thing. Both options my dentist offered are 10x better than the whiten-at-home things, and they are done professionally. PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THE WHITEN-AT-HOME SCAMS! You see, for only $300 I can get my teeth professionally whitened, but if I spend $80 like ten times over the course of several years for the ones like Luminous Brites (SCAM), I could have just as easily spent that $800 on the light-whitening thing at the dentist, or I could do the $300 option that is just as good, and used the other $500 on something more important. Also, think about the time you'll have to spend doing it yourself - not to mention most people never even finish one set of them because it's tedious! Also, all the ones you can do yourself like Lumious Brites (SCAM) many people have reported it causing sensitive gums, which is a serious dental issue and could cost you another $1,000 - $3,000 in dentist costs! So just save like $300 and get your dentist to professionally do it for you. Then you have no worries! Also it's just a waste of money to pay for the light-whitening or laser-whitening. The dentist makes a ton of money off it too, so don't let him/her sell you on it! It really works no better than the professional whitening that is placed in a plastic/rubber/ish [professional] impression of your teeth. Also your dentist knows what he's doing and if he screws up you can sue him for malpractice so at least you have a fall-back plan so you don't get screwed up gums and stuck with a $3,000 dental bill. If you screw up your gums yourself, you have no fall-back plan; and plus you're not an expert but your dentist is. Hope this helps! Good luck!

Anyone have tips for teeth whitening?
I've heard all the tips about baking soda and alcohol, but are there any whitening strips or alternative methods that work for whitening teeth?
--------------------
Hi, Well baking soda and alcohol will not do the trick for most people. There are much better products, today you can find home products that use the same Peroxide solutions as dentists use (with different level of concentration). These products use concentration levels of 3%-40% and the stronger the concentration the faster the results you will see but in the long run you will get same results with lower concentration solution. I don't recommend use products with less then 15% solution cause they are too weak (some stripes are less then 15%). The whitening strips are fine however they are a little expensive so let me offer you an alternative. Check the site at the source it is a great teeth whitening information site so you can learn more see if you should get your teeth whiten. Take advantage of the site coupons and offers page they give recommendations only on great product and you can find there free trails, so you can start whiten those teeth risk free. Check it out and take advantage of the free trials, don't forget choose only products with 15% solution and up (i suggest you try with a pen applicator) Good luck

how old do you have to be for teeth whitening procedure at the dentist?
I just want to know how old do you have to be for the teeth whitening, where they put on the cream/gel then put on a mouth guard so your lips won't be irritated from the light etc...
--------------------
It depends on the dentist but usually not until you are older. Because getting them done professionally is very strong stuff. And especially if you still have baby teeth. But you can simply call and ask your dentist or a few different offices and ask when they do it. But I know definitely not if you haven't gotten all your teeth. And the way they do it is make a mold of your mouth and from that they make trays so it fits your mouth perfect. They put "the stuff" in the trays and you sit there for a while. Then after, you sit with fluoride for a while because the whitening opens pores in your teeth and the fluoride closes the pores which is what you want. So that's the process but I'd really call and ask your office and see. For now (if it's too early) Try whitening toothpastes - make sure it has baking soda in it! This is what truly whitens your teeth!! And what was recommended to me by my dentist is Listerine Whitening pre-rinse. They've had a lot of success with that. So make sure you are brushing 2x a day and use the whitening paste and then maybe something like Crest pro health (one in morning and one at night) because you don't want to be trying to bleach/whiten all the time, not very good for your teeth. So see if you can get them done. If not then try the rinse and then brushing with 2x a day; using one paste in the morning and the other at night (you can use the rinse both times) Good luck <3

Does teeth whitening chemicals make our teeth brittle?
I just came from a dentist for teeth whitening treatment 2 weeks ago, when accidentally I bit a chicken bone and my tooth cracked easily.
--------------------
I'm just going to answer the bolded question, because the description, i'm not really sure, so i have no right to say anything; Teeth whitening chemicals do make your teeth brittle, yes. But other foods on the other hand sometimes also make your teeth brittle/rough like coke(when you scratch your teeth it has a sqeaky sound). I'm not sure, but go back to your dentist and ask why your tooth cracked easily, she might know. :)

What is the best teeth whitening strips or system?
okay, i don't want to go get my teeth whitened professionally, but i'm looking for good results. i don't REALLY care how uncomfortable the strips are, i just want them to be really white. so if you've used one and they made a difference, which kind were they? crest? aquafresh trays?
--------------------
crest white strips are the best. specifically the ones labeled premium. they whiten so fast and evenly. ive tried the rest like aqua fresh and they don't work as well. they are a bit hard to keep in place the first few times of use just because ur not use to having something over ur teeth and sometimes u unconsciously rub ur tongue against them to lift it a little lol...eventually u get use to it though and it only takes a week to whiten ur teeth pretty much back to when u were a baby...u just have to do it again every 6 months. a year or longer if ur a careful eater and ur a regular flosser. use toothpaste for sensitive teeth as you use the strips because whitening can make ur teeth a bit sensitive.
