What age is it safe to use teeth whitening strips?

I use them a lot and I'm 14. I used them when I was 13 as well. I would get the whitening trays instead, though. My whole family agrees that the strips are useless. Should you use white strips for teeth whitening before bed or when you wake up?
Also should you brush after use of the strips or not? It does not say this stuff on the package.

It doesn't really matter, as long as you don't brush your teeth right before you use them. The strips need something to "stick" to. You don't have to brush afterwards, you can just swish water around your mouth, but I normally brush.

I got a pack of 4 and used all but one in 1 1/2 weeks. I feel like they should last longer but I don't put very much in the trays.

It will damage your enamel, I've used it with no luck. Now I'm using teeth whitening toothpaste plus a product which I found recently and they work like a charm. I'm using crest teeth whitening toothpaste. Also if you're interested in the product which helped me a lot Hope this helps

The professional route will cost more up front but you will get faster and longer lasting results. They might also have some sort of unsatisfied customer policy which could allow for cheap or free follow-ups. The commercial route is cheap up front and won't work as fast as professional grade supplies, but are effective none the less. Although the commercial route may cost you more money in the long run.

I would like to whiten my teeth but heard that it removes minerals and enamel from the surface of the tooth leaving more exposed to decay. Has anyone heard this and is it true? Is there any difference between a dentist whitening your teeth and buying light enhanced whiteners and gels via ebay?

Then, you need to do again because is for short time, not forever. And, more you do, more sensitive and hurt your teeth. And, you cannt eat and drink: cofee, chocolate, carrots, curry, blueberry, because r things make your teeth become brown like cigar and you lose your whitening more fast than 1 year because this is strong color food. You cannt drink tea too. You cannt smoke. This things make you lose white effect fast, become yellow teeth and worst: become like you smoke, brown somewhere if you have artificial teeth in white color. I mean if you have cavity and you replace teeth with white color, not the whitenning gel (this part were u had cavity, become brow!). So, make sure if you wanna spend money to lose fast if you keep eating and drinking and smooking what i wrote. Too much green things you cannt eat too because is strong. This way, you only get sensitive teeth! This is bad! p.s.: rubbish, you cannt eat too a large list of strong colors food. My english isnt good I cannt tell you all but more or less is this.

Do home teeth whitening kits work?
I have seen them advertised, some boasting that they can make your teeth up to 2 shades whiter in less than 45 mins. They come with a peroxide solution and laser light, but I was wondering if they're effective and are they harmful in the long run. I have quit smoking and it has took its toll on my teeth during the years, making them discoloured and dirty looking. Would these kits help and are there any dangers in using them. i've never tried them, but i can say that the whitening strips do work quiet well. i've tried them before and within a few days you have bright white teeth! i don't know how white or not white you're teeth may be, mine are pretty normal, and they work for me. maybe you should try the whitening strips and see how well the work out for you first:)

Lost the instructions for my White Light Teeth Whitening kit. Have the two syringes, tray & light. Can anyone tell me how to use it?
