Why are my teeth still yellow?
My teeth aren't yellow due to lack of brushing my teeth. They just have a natural yellow tint. I use toothpaste that have "extra whitening" ingredients but my teeth don't whiten. I also rinse my mouth with Crest mouthwash w/o alcohol, if that helps. Professional and diy teeth whitening are out of the question. Are there any other ways I can whiten my teeth? Thanks!!! :)

yes it does work. doesnt taste that good though. just make a paste with it by adding a little water, and brush like normal. no certain type, there's only one. my sugestion, get the crest whitening strips.

Is there a hot caffeinated beverage that won't stain my teeth?
I was thinking of getting my teeth professionally whitened but I understand that if I do, and then I continue to drink coffee, the whiteness will be gone. I don't know if I can survive the winter without a hot caffeinated beverage in the morning, though. All I can think of is grinding up a No Doze and stirring it into a cup of hot water, which does not sound very appealing. Can anyone suggest a nice hot caffeinated beverage for the cool fall and winter mornings coming up? If not, how about a cold caffeinated beverage that I could have with some nice hot oatmeal? It has to be clear or white in color.

Try tea! I think white tea has caffeine.. besides being really tasty (and hot!), it won't stain your teeth. And although I'm sure Peach Pie had the best of intentions, Sprite doesn't contain any caffeine.

I've done it and noticed results after just a few days .. this is also an incredibly cheap way to whiten teeth. if you're apprehensive of this technique, crest whitestrips premium work really well (although are about 40$). These whiten your teeth within a few days, but some problems can arise by using them such as increased tooth sensitivity and having the strips slip off your teeth. there are some whitening systems that come with a tray, but from my experience they do not work very well because the tray does not easily conform to your mouth shape, and the whitening is very badly distributed and they are uncomfortable to wear. I noticed somebody below said to use lemon .. do not do this! What are some ways to hide crooked teeth?
While I am saving up for braces or cosmetic surgery, what should I do to hide my crooked teeth until then? Would it look ridiculous to bleach my teeth and have nice white crooked teeth? Or will anything help at this point? Does whitening sort of mask the teeth and take away from the fact that they're slightly crooked? I am not totally ashamed of my teeth, I don't have a redneck smile or anything but they could use a little work. Any other recommendations?

I have tried pretty much every whitening kit on the market and it has only made my stains worse. I guess your teeth can respond differently to the treatments so some might get whiter than others. Unfortunately, after spending hundreds of dollars, my dentist could not fix the damage I had done with those home kits. I wish I would have never used them in the first place so if you are serious about getting your teeth whiter in an even tone, see your dentist. P.S.: If you do not use the bleach correctly and let it get on your gums too much, you can actually get a very painful receding gum line. This will eventually result in your teeth falling out.

Dental work? As in veneers or caps? If that is the answer then nothing will whiten artificial teeth. They have to be white as you desire to start with. You teeth will whiten just fine just not artificial teeth. Crest white strips work very well but sometimes takes more than one box to get the desired color.
