A friend told me that he uses peroxide to whiten his teeth... I tired it, but after a few days or so my gums were sore when i would brush my teeth. I really want my teeth to get whiter but I don't know the best and cheapest way to do so.

If you use it on braces then your teeth won't all be one color. Wait til you get your braces off and only do it once or twice a week or you're going to kill your teeth and it'll be easier for them to get cavities and crap.

Make sure they got all the adhesive off your teeth before you do so! If there is any of that stuff still on the surface of your tooth it won't whiten and you will get very patchy looking result. i don't know how to whiten them, but i just got my braces off and trust me, there is NO point in whitening them before because they are going to look nasty when you get your braces off due to all of the food getting stuck in your teeth. get them professionally whitened after your braces come OFF. then, it will look like a totally new you:)
