A friend told me that he uses peroxide to whiten his teeth... I tired it, but after a few days or so my gums were sore when i would brush my teeth. I really want my teeth to get whiter but I don't know the best and cheapest way to do so.

Can brushing my teeth twice a day whiten them?
I didnt listen to my parents as a kid and i started TRYING to make up for that these past few months. I use colgate total whitening toothpaste. I kinda want an answer from someone that has had experience with this, not a guess

If you use it on braces then your teeth won't all be one color. Wait til you get your braces off and only do it once or twice a week or you're going to kill your teeth and it'll be easier for them to get cavities and crap.

But Peroxide is cheaper so stick with it. 2) Crest Whitening Strips- These will do the job quick! 1-2 weeks and you're done and the effects take a while to wear off. the downside: expensive. Home remedy to whiten teeth?
My teeth are a little yellow and I have braces so it looks even worse. Because of braces I can't use the whitening strips and my parents disagree on getting teeth whitened proffesionally. If there's a cheap home remedy that I can use to whiten my teeth plz tell me! I heard about mixing baking soda with another thing called hydrogen something...
