Im looking to have my teeth whitened by Laser Surgery, but am a little bit scared because I hear it makes your teeth thin and stripps the enamel from your teeth, is this true and would anybody recommend this procedure? How often do you have to have it done?

I had mine done (not by laser) by chemical from the dentist. It flipping hurts, the chemical solution makes it feel like your teeth have cracked. The result was alright but doesn't last. I can't see how laser treatment would make your teeth thin, best bet is to ask your regular dentist about it.

Do Crest White strips work well? I would like to know before i spend 50 bucks! Are the cheaper products just as good? Should I get the strips or a mouthpiece thing?

I do know that the over the counter tooth whitening kits do work very well on teeth that are yellowish or brownish, but not very well on teeth with a greyish hue. Our office recommends the Rembrandt or Crest brands, but I did see in another post that someone had good success with the Walmart brand. There are several types. Some kits only take a couple hours, some several weeks. The fast ones cost more. Just go to the store and start reading the instructions on the packages and decide how much you want to spend vs. how long you are willing to treat your teeth.

Honestly I have tried the strips and they work okay but I really do Not Like having to spend $30+ on them a month. I now use a different product, they are like pens. I like them a lot better because they are able to get the small areas of the teeth that the strips do not cover. I Got a free trail at the website I listed below and after that I paid a one time "membership" fee now all I do is order a new supply when i run out and they send it right away. All I have to do is pay shipping. I have been using them for 3 and a half months now and I see a huge improvement. I am saving myself money in the process cuz I do not have to buy those strips every month anymore. If your always worried about your teeth being white like me I would check it out. It works great

No but they aren't permanant, you need to do it every few months depending on your eating habits. Also it's bad if you swallow them so be careful :P from my experience I only had a TINY whitening effect... barely even visible to my friends. They were good ones too, did it for like a month. You should go for something else in my opinion.

After using teeth whitening strips some parts of my gums turn white. Is this normal?

They do work but, you gotta follow the instructions to a t. If you don't it can cause BAD sensitivity issues for ya. My dentist recommends the Crest one. Your dentist also will have the Crest strips that are stronger and not sold in the stores. Another option in case you weren't aware of that.

Or any other brand? What is the best one that you have found out? Looking for expierence here, my teeth are not real yellow I guess you could say smoker yellow. My teeth are not sensitive, and I really don't have the oportunity to go to the dentist and ask for some. I am in italy, in the army, so I am pretty sure they don't have anything like that.
