Teeth whitening can cause sensitivity. So it could be that you are feeling. Does it get worse if you eat something cold or very hot? Or if you're out in the cold air and open your mouth? If so, it's probably just that.

could a child of 11 years old have their teeth whitened with baking powder?
i think i heard that whitening teeth can make your gums burned... is it safe and effective? have you tried it before?

Has anyone had their teeth whitened in Bali?
Was going to get my teeth whitened here (Perth), but after seeing my local dentist it was $500 for the take home kit or $900 for the laser whitening. I would assume it's a lot cheaper in Bali. Has anyone used a dentist over there while they've been on holidays for teeth whitening?

not THAT young... but young enough that some mothers wouldnt allow it. if your mom is one of them, you can whiten your teeth by using a paste of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. it bleaches them a bit after like 5 minutes. im 16 and i do it about twice a month because its cheaper than strips and works almost as well!

I have been considering whitening my teeth but wanted to know if if could harm your gums or teeth in any way? Since it doesn't last forever wouldn't it be bad for you to be doing it the time throughout your life? if are there any really good products that you've tried or any ones that dont work.. mentionit here

Will tooth-whitening strips hurt if you have a cavity or exposed nerve?
I doubt I have either of those things, as I just had a great check-up. But I've had problems with tooth sensitivity and gum recession in the past. I remember reading years ago that that tooth-whitening stuff that you brush onto your teeth (I'm not sure if they make it anymore) REALLY hurts if you have tooth problems that you don't know about. Is the same true for the whitening strips?

I don't think they have the paint-on stuff anymore, but my dentist recommends Crest Whitening Strips. .

Clinic? sometimes there light doesn't work.. my uncle did that and it made his teeth more yellow. I think there is a reason why companies are coming out with the stripes and stuff like that. Personally I think you should go with the Listerine Stripes. They dissolve in your mouth. You can use them anywhere and anytime!

Do OTC whitening products compare to the results you can get from the whitening trays provided from a dentist? My dentist gave me the options of trays or laser whitening, but I'm wondering if I can find similar results using OTC products.

I use Targets brand of whitening strips. they seem to work fine, but then again i brush my teeth regularly with crest whitening toothpaste also. Id say if you want to try them then find a generic brand, or find coupons on the internet of popular brand whitening strips to try for yourself.
