strawberries. im dead serious. i saw it on the tyra banks show and various celebs whiten their teeth by rubbing a strawberry on them. you dont need to cut the strawberry or anything, just take it and rub in on your teeth, but make sure that the strawberry juice gets on your teeth.

I make bleach trays everyday at my clinic. If you want to paint on, that would be your best bet! I use Whitestrips and Night Effects. And did you know that home whitening products are less harmful because they don't remove any of your enamel. In other words, don't waste big bucks on procedures that last for years because it shortens your tooth's lifespan!

I'm a dentist so I generally recommend getting them whitened professionally in a dentists office but I know how expensive it can be so here are some cheaper ways you can whiten at home. 1) Use whitening toothpastes after 4 times a day but brush LIGHTER so you don't ruin your gums. Using baking soda with this is also effective for some people. 2) Exposure of the teeth to light is a slow but effective way to whiten. However, I don't recommend this method to many people just because it's hard to achieve. It's pretty awkward to expose teeth to sun light 4 hours out of the day and teeth whitening products that shine UV light on your teeth are simply ineffective. 3) At-home teeth whitening products that work. I'm not talking about Crest Whitestrips or similar products found at walgreens or walmart. PLEASE don't use those. Almost every day I get calls from my clients complaining and asking for advice because the whitestrips destroyed their gums ... made their teeth extra sensitive .... or flat out didnt work .. etc. You're better off using products like the ones in the article I attached below. They can get expensive but as the article states, they are giving out free trials so get them while you can. I brush twice a day with a whitening toothpaste. I don't smoke, don't drink any caffeine, or any sodas. I don't even eat chocolate or any sweets. & i have yellow teeth, Its very frustrating & does someone have any solutions?

Besides that, if you have periodontal disease, the gums are likely swollen and teeth need cleaning. Bleaching would turn out uneven in color because the gum level will likely be lower once healthy and you can only bleach clean teeth. Be patient and wait until you are free of disease, whether periodontal or dental problems to use any bleaching system. You will definitely get better results.

I generally like to use the sponge tool and desaturate the image. The Sponge tool is located with the dodge and burn tool (O Key). You're really just trying to get rid of the color and sometimes using other tools like the dodge will make the teeth too bight. Also you're adding light, so if you're working on an underexposed photo the dodge tool won't be an option probably. Anyways, here's a sample I made with the same pic from above just for comparison purposes. This is simply using the sponge tool on desaturate mode...nothing else. my Dentist told me ,,, let me do a quick run down on my Dentist 1st:) this guy is 80 some yrs old, literally stormed the beaches of Normandy in 44, has been my Dentist since i was a kid(i'm 47 now:) charged me 25 buck for a filling, 15 bucks for a cleaning,LOL,, and has alway did a great job,, now,, what he tells me is: any whitening toothpaste will do what you want it to do, just brush in front 1st, leave it on for at least a minute and soon your teeth will be briter with no risk :):)

aqua fresh white trays worked for me they're like $40 dollars but work really great though you'll start to see results on day 2 and you could use listerine white rinse but whitening is also bad for your enamel but your just doing it once so it shouldn't really be much to worry about and you could actually use hydrogen peroxide like dip your toothbrush in the peroxide and then put baking soda on it like cover all the bristles with baking soda and brush your teeth with it and it should work but you might have to do that a few times though and try not to swallow any of the whitening stuff like whatever you use don't swallow it of course and if you like you can mix the peroxide with some mouthwash to make it taste better and rinse with peroxide too so that will clean your mouth. Sure! Try the Rembrandt bleaching trays kit. It's pretty awesome and easy to use , it doesn't irritate much either. You see, the kit contains two bleaching trays (upper and lower) you place them in fairly hot water then place the trays in your mouth, suck in really hard, and the trays mold to your teeth! Pretty freaking awesome, anyway after you got the mold then you place the bleaching gel in the trays oput um in your mouth and keep them in for a half hour I believe. The results are great and they lighten up for a couple days after too. I did this back in Oct 08 and still have great results! To keep up with it use Rembrandt Intense Stain toothpaste. The bleaching tray kit costs like $20-25 bucks and the toothpaste is $4.
