I use Crest Vivid 3D flouride tooth paste that removes up to 80% stains in 14 days. And I use floss. I use a Crest tooth brush. What are ways to make teeth whiten without spending over $10 dollars. Things you can find in your house to use. My dentist told me baking soda isn't good for your teeth. So what are the new products on the line these days? I do not plan on spending a fortune. I do not like WHITENING STRIPS they dont work for me!

Hello..The first thing you need to do is make sure the colors you don't like can be changed with any kind of toothpaste or home remedy...Some tooth shades are natural and not stains from any outside source. A tooth has three basic layers..The outside layer, Enamel, grows in shades of "Clear" to "Gray" to "Bluish"..The next layer the Dentin tends to be in shades that range from lite "Brown" to "Yellow" and the third layer the Pulp Chamber. tends to run from lite Pink to darker Pink....These are not colors that just happen due to food stains or say smoking...To change these shades you will need the dentist to provide the proper chemicals or in some cases use a dental laser.....Attempting to change the color mother nature gave you with home made chemicals could cost you the tooth....See your dental health professional.....and if the one your seeing doesn't have the answer, see a different one.
