Does anyone here have a SAFE homemade remedy for teeth whitening?

It sounds gross but it works. My grandpa has used it for years and he's still got all of his real teeth and they're white. The first part isn't as bad...you just use regular old Arm and Hammer baking soda....it is non abrasive and it cleans your teeth really well....then after rinsing really well....you use apple cider vinegar.. brush your teeth and gums lightly....you'll probably want to follow up with your favorite tooth paste and mouthwash to get the vinegar taste out....it works really well and it's much much cheaper than any of that crap they sell in the stores.

Although they are perfectly fine to use everyday - I just like to use whitening one day then sensitive the other day. Personally I've never used any of the products with the gel and the light as i've heard from my dentist that some of them are just a waste of money and will never work. You could try asking at the dentist for an at home whitening course. These are 100% approved by the Dentists but you can do them in your own home. It basically includes a tray and gel and you keep them on for about 15 / 20 mins a day. But definately ask the dentist as there's just so many companies that are ONLY out to make a profit out of other peoples problems

If I were you I would spend the money on a teeth whitening kit so you can get the faster results (within a week), plus it lasts longer. If you need even faster results, I would visit your dentist's office and ask them how much it would cost to get teeth whitening in-office.

Plus White 5 min speed teeth whitening UK alternative?
Does anyone know a good alternative to this American brand? Plus white is really cheap in States, while here in the UK it is more than twice more expensive, which is absolutely not worth that money.. cleaning my teeth better without whitening?
how do i make my teeth cleaner without using whitening products. i can not use whitening products because i have bonding on my two front teeth so they wont change color and i do not want them to look different then my other teeth because all of a sudden my teeth became more immune to plaque and they are turning yellow more often. is there anyway i can prevent this?

i have just started tonight whitening my teeth w/ colgate simply white whitening gel...and i have a clear retainer that i only have to wear at night...is it safe to wear it after i put the gel on my teeth?

If its a retainer for post ortho, then there wont be any room for the bleaching agent. If you've had your braces off for a while then you can switch off one night bleaching, one night retainer, or wear you reatiner during the day while you are bleaching so that your teeth stay put; it is clear after all.

A few months ago, at the dentist, I had my teeth whitened. The whitening thingy was called "ZOOM". My teeth are already fading and yellow :[ I've always had dull and yellowish teeth even though I take great care of them. If you have had this treatment done, what were your results?

Best Options for Teeth Whitening?
I recently got two teeth bonded because they are really tiny, and although the bonding looks nice, it doesn't match the color of my teeth. My teeth are kind of yellow so I want to whiten them anyway, and it would help match my teeth and bonding together. What are the best options? I was thinking laser teeth whitening but im scared it will ruin the enamel of my teeth and they will be permanently sensitive!

my whole mouth is bonded, i got it done in october and i love it! your best bet for whitening would be a process called "zoom: whitening, and it might be pretty expensive but its worth a shot! ask your local dentist about it and good luck :)

ZOOM teeth whitening Questions?
I need a second opinion on Zoom teeth whitening. Based on what you know about it, do you think it is effective? I have dark yellow stains in between teeth and something else "dysplasia" that my dentist mentioned, I have white spots randomly over more than a few of my teeth. Pretty much, I have different levels on staining on my teeth and wondering if the whitening will even the color out, even if some start out as a darker stain than others. And what's the peoper name for the white spots found on my teeth? Does whitening get that stuff out, since it's NOT really antibiotics/drink/food/smoking stains. Also been reading reviews saying Zoom is not effective for people white white spots. Also my Dentist says there is a "Life time gaurantee". Does that mean free retouching in office when necessary? Also, they will send me home with an at home bleaching kit after the procedure. It'll be $400...let me know your thoughts. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

so i want to whiten my teeth today, so i need a good answer. i want a whitening product that i can buy at any ordinary store, (walmart, meijer, walgreens), and it has to work the first time. i don't want to have to use it twice daily for 2 weeks like some products. i'm going into high school in less than 5 days so i want my teeth to look really good and white. it has to be cheap, like anywhere ranging up to $15-20. thanks !

I started using the Crest whitening strips this past saturday. And I have notice that my bottom teeth are sensitive to drinking or touching them. Should I stop or will it stop feeling that way after a while? Or should I use sensitive toothpaste while using the strips? IDK if that will even make a difference.... Help :)

Yes they can make your teeth sensitive. You might want to use a toothpaste for sensitive teeth. Just be sure you are not leaving them on longer than they say because it will make the sensitivity worse.

I have yellow teeth, and I need a good whitening product, any ideas?
Im 16 and I have slightly yellow teeth. They arent really bad, but they do make me feel self conscience. I need a good teeth whitener thats actually gonna work. I was considering the Brite Smile Whitening Pens on QVC, or the Go Smile AM / PM toothpastes. Im not sure what will get my teeth white.
