I just answered this a little bit ago to someone else's questions, so here's the answer :) The Crest Whitestrips are the best ones from the drugstore. I wouldn't suggest getting the ones that dissolve (just seems like a strange thing to have everything dissolve in your mouth!) or the ones that are like trays from the drugstore because when the trays are over sized/too big in the mouth they end up covering the gums and can actually burn the gums... painful. I've had a couple patients come to my office with that issue! Don't do the zoom whitening in an office either.... too much whitening all at once. Not only is it not good for the teeth, but it can make them SO SENSITIVE it's ridiculous. I've ALSO had patients that have gone to other offices (we don't do zoom whitening at mine) to have it done and have been in honestly severe pain for a few days to a week. It makes the teeth sooooo sensitive. With whether they work or not... everyone is different. Usually (if you use them as you're supposed to!) they give a big enough difference that you're satisfied with. If you're not satisfied you can have trays made at your dental office but they're very expensive and not covered by insurance. So I always suggest Whitestrips first.

Hi, Well i guess that if your teeth are white already then it will be very simple to make them even whiter. The lower the solution the longer you can apply them to your teeth and the results are the same. In your case i have to recommend you not to get the higher concentration products but take products with 20%-25% concentration. i also suggest you use gel pen applicator or tray i prefer them on stripes. I also think that you shouldn't spend much on teeth whitening so check the site at the source it is a teeth whitening info site and they have a page with coupons and offers just pick one of the free trails i am sure it will be enough for you to see results so why pay money?. What is a good teeth whitening system that can be bought online? I got trays made a couple of years ago and went through a bleaching system, kind of half way. The options for teeth whitening are many. I've tried several with only limited results. Does a dentist teeth whitening make a big difference on yellow teeth?
The local dentist has a special if i get my teeth cleaned they do a free teeth whitening, anyone ever done one of these? I use crest white strips on & off not consistent to see change as the strips are a sloppy process.

You see whitening toothpastes only contain minimal whitening agents and so for the few minutes alone in brushing your teeth it would take an extremely long time to produce any noticeable change. Whitening "strips" while more effective then toothpaste again only contain mild oxidization activators within the "strip" so here again the results tend to take longer and not as long lasting. You really need to find a system that is similar to the ones that dentists use, but in a more affordable solution. These tend to work much more effectively and doesn't cost you hundreds of dollars like a trip to the dentist would. Is laser teeth whitening better at making the teeth white as compared to the trays the dentists give?
I had the trays once but they didnt make the entire tooth white, as if the product didnt cover the entire tooth, it wasnt uniform. will the laser (i think its laser), the one time whitening be better at making the teeth all white?

I'm only 14 years old and I don't drink coffee or smoke. I brush and floss daily, but my teeth are still yellowish. Second, what is a good product to use for teeth whitening that doesn't leave my teeth extremely sensitive?
