Will dentist whiten my teeth if i ask him to even though i need work done?
The dentist keeps scheduling me appointments- a couple weeks ago i had a root canal, i have a couple teeth with small cavities that need to be filled still. The first time i had a cleaning done. Now he keeps making appointments 2 weeks apart and every other week i get something else done, i want my teeth whiteneneed! Will he do them if i ask for it even though some work still needs to be done?

If I use a mouthwash that whitens teeth with braces on, will I end up with stains when they come off?
I have this mouthwash that you use and then brush your teeth after you spit it out (I think the brand is Listerine but I don't remember exactly) and it whitens your teeth. i would probably try baking soda bc you can just add that to ur regular toothpaste or mix it with water - but be careful not to use it long term or without the advice of ur dentist bc home things could damage ur teeth over time. i would ask ur dentist what he thinks the best thing would be. i know that when i got my bleaching trays and gel from my dentist he said that sometimes placing some toothpaste for sensitive teeth into the trays (and/or brushing with it) can help with the sensitivity. hope this helps! =)

A home- made toothpaste for whitening ok?
I was looking on the internet for home remedies for teeth whitening. I fould ALOT of people saying bakig soda, peroxide..etc. I found this one that says to mix baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, table salt, and a dab of regular toothpaste and mix to a paste and brush teeth, says to use once a week and brush with regular toothpaste afterwards. i've been using whitening trays that have been professionally molded to my teeth for months now, but just recently when I remove them in the morning one of my front teeth hurts like the tray was putting pressure on it.
