What are the best teeth whitening procedures that are not alot of money?
I have braces and when i get them off i am going to get my teeth whitened so there will not be that ugly stripe of yellow on my teeth they will be the same color!!!!

Overall I would say that most of my patient's have had some measure of success with the Crest Whitestrips, some more than others. Our office uses Crest Supreme which are much stronger than what you can buy in a drugstore and don't cost that much more ($60.00 vs $30.00). You can purchase the drugstore version, but do yourself the favor of using them right after you get your teeth cleaned as any staining and buildup (tartar or plaque) will impede their ability to work. Also, don't use fluoride toothpaste before putting the strips on (same reason). The strips are probably your best low price alternative, much less than in office whitening or custom trays (about $500.00). Most whitening toothpastes just remove stain on the surfaces of your teeth and therefore are not so effective. It's just a scam. I highly doubt this person is a real "mom" who discovered a secret. It basically talks about how she combined two different online whitening products by purchasing both free trials. I looked at the ingredients and perhaps these products MAY work to some degree, but they will not give people the amazing results that this "mom" talks about.

I really liked rembrant white. They're not strips so they don't slide all over like crest white strips do, and they have a minty taste to them so they don't just taste like bleach. They're hard to explain, they're almost like a mouth guard...but much much thinner. They mold to your teeth, I thought they gave great results. Good luck!

What's the best 7-12 day teeth whitening for sensitive teeth?
Well, I don't normally have sensititve teeth - except when I used teeth whitening strips. About 5 years ago, I tried Crest whitening strips (back when they didn't have a strong formula and it took about a month to see results.) Well, it really hurt my teeth because after about 2 weeks of using them, my teeth got really sensitive. I'm afraid if I get 1 week treatment, the solution will be compounded and too strong for my teeth to handle. What are your experiences? Thanks!

I'm trying to find out what is the best teeth-whitening system without going to the dentist for a professional whitening. I'm researching for my fiance, who is in the Marines. Because he doesn't have the time, as well as all the amount of paperwork he would need to file to get a whitening done, we want to find something over-the-counter.
