I am thinking about buying a home teeth whitening kit and thinking about getting this one 'Whiter than White'. Just wanted to know if anyone else has used it and what the results were like. Or if you can recommend a better product. I am willing to pay up to £150. My dentist has quoted me £300 for him to do it, but I dont want to pay that much.

Why do you have to be over eighteen to have your teeth whitened/bleached with an at-home kit?
i really want to have snow white teeth and they have tooth whitening kits on sale but they all say on them you have to be over eighteen. why? can it harm your teeth? i'm not gonna get it done if it does but how does it damage them? i'd just like to know thanks.

How can I whiten my Teeth at Home?
My teeth are slightly yellow and I have been using Crest teeth whitening strip for a week but I can not tell any difference. I am thinking of buying crest whitening strips to whiten my teeth or aquafresh strips to whiten my teeth? Has anyone had any good experience with using the strips? Which brand do you feel is the best of all? I brush my teeth three times a day and they still don't look white or not even close to it. I just want a great smile. I have an overbite so I don't have a great smile but people say they like it when I smile. What can I do to make my teeth whiter?

Tooth pain after zoom teeth whitening?
I had Zoom Whitining done today at the Dentist office and it did a really good job, but WOW my teeth are super sensitive now. Some of them are even throbbing, is this normal and how long will it last?

It is very normal! It should settle down within the week. Take some ibuprofen to help take off the edge. avoid anything too cold or sweet. and avoid staining things like coke coffee smoking etc. Bleach really drys out your teeth and it will take a little while for the enamel to take up fluid again so stick to water and clear stuff.

Well im using Crest Whitening strips preium at the moment, i believe my teeth are starting to get sensitive due to the strips? Is there something to worry about? Things i should do? Well my age is 15 right now

My teeth are looking less white in some areas, what are some things I can do w/o having to buy those expensive teeth whitening systems. Why do home whitening kits suggest you don't brush your teeth before use?
I've noticed that when I get home whitening kits they almost always say something like "for best results, do not brush teeth immediately before applying strips". Does anyone know why that is?

You can also use a fluoride rinse but try to find one that isn't too highly coloured if you plan to use it while you are whitening - it would be very disappointing if during the whitening process when the cells are open that you turn them slightly blue from the mouthwash! One technique that the very sensitive use is to limit the time the solution is on their teeth to 30 minutes to 1 hour and extend the frequency from daily to every 2nd or 3rd day. The strength of the solution may also have some bearing on how sensitive you become. Doing whitening under the guidance of your dentist means that if the sensitivity issue is a problem then the dentist is responsible for finding a solution!

I recently got two teeth bonded because they are really tiny, and although the bonding looks nice, it doesn't match the color of my teeth.
