Can you rehape and whiten all of your teeth with dental bonding?
Instead of getting veneers, can you just get all of your teeth bonded and rehshaped and whitened? would it look good?

However, bonding does not last a lifetime and it is difficult to tell how long it will last, it depends on how your teeth come together and what your habits are. (Veneers don't last forever either) with veneers or bonding you are making a long term commitment. You should have your dentist take a look and see what they recommend, if you already have bonding on some of your teeth, they won't whiten w/ bleaching, so you would want to have those replaced anyways.

Can naturally yellow teeth be whitened?
I've tried brushing with baking soda and hydrogen peroxide for 3 weeks with no success. Perhaps my teeth are not stained and so there is no way to get rid of the yellow. Could it be that only stained teeth be whitened and not teeth that are naturally yellow in color? My teeth are strong and thick and I heard that can cause teeth to be yellow since less light can pass through it.

How can I whiten my teeth without using teeth whiteners?

I did the baking soda peroxide, and yeah it isnt the best tasting stuff but i did see results, I reccomend doing the peroxide/baking soda first then use your regular toothpaste, it helps get the nasty taste out and leaves your mouth minty fresh!

When my braces get removed will they whiten my teeth?
I am getting my braces removed after having them on for 2 years. Since they have been on, my teeth have lost quite a bit of colouring... They used to be a nice colour and now it's faded, I am wondering if after they take them off, will they whiten them or anything? Thanks X

Dentists... teeth whitening?
I have a retainer that I wear regularly after getting my braces off. I really want to whiten my teeth and I've been told by a friend that I could buy the carbamide peroxide 22% gel and use it in my retainer instead of having to pay for the trays to put the gel in. Is this true... is it safe to use this gel in my retainers and if so, how long can I keep it in for? Will the gel harm my retainers? Many thanks!

A cheap and amazing way to whiten them is to use regular baking soda and water to make a paste. All you have to do is brush with it after your regular brushing!! This is the same thing that some dental offices use to clean your teeth and make them white!! The only thing is it can taste a bit salty!

Few questions on professional teeth whitening?
hello so im 16, a junior in high school. And i was planning on getting my teeth professionally done before i go to college. i currently use crest whitestrips, which dont hurt, unless i do them twice a day..then my teeth start to get sensitive. Also, i accidently left them on once (i fell asleep) for 4 horus and the whole next day they KILLED but do you think i will have any major issues with professional whitening? im willing to suck it up if its just a few days of pain how much does it cost? how long will the pain last? and how long do the results last... thanks!

Question about teeth whitening kit. A dentist's advice would be good?
So about 4 days ago i bought a teeth whitening kit off ebay. Its 44% bleach, and it comes with a UV light thing and all the proper gear. I just wanted to know is it safe to use before i actually use it? I know the strongest you can get over the counter is literally only about 6% or something like that and i wanted a fast result hence why i bought a kit with 44% Thanks in advance.

Sure, you can use any over the counter dental bleaching solution or ask your dentist for a tube. The solution won't harm the tray, it's the same material that we use for the bleaching trays. Just don't sleep with the bleaching gel on your teeth to prevent hypersensitivity.

Anyone heard of crest white strips for whitening teeth?
I've search online and found this product but not so sure whether it works as I've tried other whitening products which doesnt really helps.

I haven't used the Crest strips because I have a rebuilt front tooth, and they won't work on that--I will end up with a bright shiny smile with a weird looking patch on one tooth ;) I do have friends who have used various at-home tooth whitening methods, and I have heard both good and bad things about the product you mention. Some people have had good results, but most seem to believe that the at home kits with the trays and the whitening gels do a better job. If you really, really want to do a good job, talk to your dentist, and find out what he or she recommends. Obviously, you can have it done at the dentist's office, but that is very costly. Accordingly, I don't see why they would be opposed to talking to you about the at-home products. Whatever you do, do your research very carefully before you actually use anything. Some products, from what I have read, are safer than others. Be sure you use a safe one, as you don't want to use something which will weaken your teeth. Good luck!

Does laser whitening produce hollywood white results?
