Hi!! Well to be honest those kinds of treatments are not for making but for keeping teeth white. I tell my patients to buy it after whitening their teeth. If you want them to be really white you should consider a professional whitening system, because that will work for sure, plus if you had a lot of coffee they need much more than just a mouthwash.

Don't use bleach or bleaching cream! Those things have chlorine in them and are very toxic!! You should use a product that has hydrogen peroxide in it. Don't gargle with just plain hydrogen peroxide. This won't do anything because you won't have it in your mouth for long enough. And you run the risk of swallowing it or using too high of a percentage and burning your mouth. There are tons of teeth whitening products out there that use hydrogen peroxide. Crest Whitestrips are one. Another one that I love and that we recommend from our dental office is the e-Bright Tooth Whitening Accelerator. This nifty little thing uses the same kind of whitening gel as Crest Whitestrips, but it also uses blue LED light to accelerate the process. So it will only take you three, 20 minute sessions to get the same results as you would using Crest Whitestrips twice a day for two weeks. Your other option is to do in-office power whitening. These treatments can be expensive, but they're only about 30-60 minutes long (it varies depending on how strong the gel is) and the results are better than the results that you would get with the home whitening treatments. My personal recommendation is Beyond Power Whitening. (I work for a dental office - so I had to research all of these things before we invested in them). This system is better than the more well-known Zoom one. It's only 30 minutes long and doesn't burn your lips or mouth like the Zoom treatment can. You also have a lower risk of sensitivity from the treatment. We charge $450 dollars for the treatment in our office and everyone is always really happy with the results. I am going to get my front teeth bonded in about a month due to these bright white stains i have always had on them. However I wanted to whiten my teeth beforehand because I have heard that you cannot whiten bonded teeth. Check with your dentist. I would have him/her whiten them because it is much quicker and will give much better results than an at-home whitening kit. You want them their truest color to get a good match with the bonding. For future maintenance of your whitened teeth, ask the dentist which product you can use that will not harm the bonding. How can I whiten my teeth naturally?
Sometimes I laugh because I say to myself I have butter teeth. My teeth are beginning to turn yellow. What remedy do you recommend to whiten teeth? I've heard of baking soda & peroxide? Is it safe? I had moderately yellow teeth and I used Crest Whitestripes. It dramatically whitened my teeth. Every once in awhile I whiten again just to keep the results. Also, drinking lots of tea and soda can make your teeth yellow, sometimes just cutting down on those drinks can make your teeth whiter. Good luck!

The best one I used (and continue to use) is Rembrant 2 hour tray/gels. If you do it properly and mold the teeth trays it does a fantastic job. However, note that no matter how good your teeth whitening product is...even from a dentist...your teeth will eventually start to yellow with time and you will have to do them again. I do mine every 3 months. Also, I use Rembrant Plus toothpaste all the time. That really helps too...

The CAS stay on great and you can drink water easily or talk without risking them coming off. I just started using them- i used crest advanced (not seal) before and they whitened fine but were a pain to keep in place. My teeth went up several shades.

Stores such as Family Dollar sell generic pre brush whitener(works well) most of these products contain peroxide.Certain Toothhpaste contains baking soda and peroxide which my dentist says if safe.
