I recently purchased the Plus White 5 Minute Bleach Whitening gel. I have been using it for the past week. I'm not sure if I have been doing it right when it comes to brushing my teeth. Am I supposed to brush my teeth before or after using this whitening gel?

i want to whiten my teeth...I dont smoke but drink a bit of tea etc which stains. any suggestion how to whiten

Rembrandt worked 10 times better than Crest did for me. My teeth got so white in 10 days and they weren't sensitive at all, I love them! I don't know about Aquafresh.

as the others said - it's bicarbonate of soda. dead easy to buy from most supermarkets... my village shop even sells it ! i wouldn't want to use it though - it tastes bad enough when it's mixed into minty toothpaste. i tried it once, and got fed up of retching every time i tried to brush my teeth. it works because it's a mild abrasive - maybe not to be recommended for continuous use. ask your dentist.

Hi. I read about this in a magazine to help whiten your teeth! However it was only peice about it and it didnt say how to use it. I just dipped my toothbrush into the soda but am not sure if this is right (and it tasted awful!). Am i suppost to make it into a paste with water, dilute it or just put it on my brush as powder. I bought the Crest 3D White Whitestrips Advanced Vivid. It's a 14 day kit, but in the directions it says that, for faster results, you can use 2 a day for 7 days, instead of just 1 for each of the 14. I'm curious if you can use more than 2 per day?

What are some ways to hide crooked teeth?
While I am saving up for braces or cosmetic surgery, what should I do to hide my crooked teeth until then? Would it look ridiculous to bleach my teeth and have nice white crooked teeth? Or will anything help at this point? Does whitening sort of mask the teeth and take away from the fact that they're slightly crooked? I am not totally ashamed of my teeth, I don't have a redneck smile or anything but they could use a little work. Any other recommendations?

Dental work? As in veneers or caps? If that is the answer then nothing will whiten artificial teeth. They have to be white as you desire to start with. You teeth will whiten just fine just not artificial teeth. Crest white strips work very well but sometimes takes more than one box to get the desired color.

well, I am a final year dental student at the moment, and I would say that your cousin should be using a fluoride based over the counter toothpaste, as anything more abrasive is likely to rub away the enamel over time and will lead to sensitivity and discolouration as the softer dentine shines through. At 12, her second molar teeth should be erupting, and so what is important isnt really what she brushes with- it is that she brushes 2x daily for long enough and with good technique to keep her gums and teeth clean. In response to the previous answer DONT, just dont use BLEACH in your mouth. Especially not at this age. It can seriously damage gums, mouths, and also can go through the tooth into the nerve. At 12 she can stop or avoid doing the bad habits that discolour teeth- smoking, tea/coffee/ wine and get into good habits of cleaning.. and so will not need to whiten.

Bleach bright to whiten teeth?
