About whitening my teeth.........?
is there any whitning product I should use which is inexpensive and easy to get? I don't mean by the tooth past but some kind of gel or solution which perform such action.
--------------------
Here is an important WARNING. I used Listerine Whitening Pre-Brush rinse, completely in accordance with the instructions (rinse full strength for 60 seconds, maximum twice a day, just before brushing). After a couple of weeks, my teeth got a little brighter ... but then ... suddenly a couple of my molars got VERY SENSITIVE to anything cold or sweet. I did a little research, and found out the active ingredient in the rinse (Hydrogen Peroxide) causes this side effect in many people. It is harsh on your tooth enamel and can tweak nerves that lie just under your tooth enamel. I stopped using the product right away, and within a week, the sensitivity luckily went away. I would be very cautious about using any teeth whitening products. Tooth sensitivity and gum damage/irritation are common side effects. Some gum damage is not reversible - scary! BEWARE! DO RESEARCH!

Which is a more effective way to whiten your teeth?
By Laser or the gel the dentist gives you to take home?? 10 points asap thanks for your time.

No one's teeth are naturally white. They are different shades of white so you can never really get 100% white teeth. But there are products which can help you remove stains and give your teeth a cleaner look. The best way is to go to a dentist and pay for a teeth whitening treatment. But that is generally reserved for people who have badly stained teeth or people who have had their braces recently removed. For an average person, there are several solutions available in the market. The most popular are whitening strips. They are popular because they are the easiest to apply. But they may not be the most effective. I tried out strips but they didn't work for me because they kept coming off, and they take way too long to make an affect. I resorted to using baking soda and bleach but it was too painful. The best solution I have come across is the teeth whitening tips. It's the closest thing to what the dentist use. It's a powder you apply on your teeth using tips, which removes stains and such. I used it for a week with good results I saw the ad on CNN. Here's a link to the site http://www.teethwhiten.com/splash.php?ai

Is it a bad idea to use Crest Whitestrips if I have fillings on my bottom front teeth?
I chipped my front bottom teeth when I was younger and so I have fillings on maybe a third of them. I just bought Crest Whitestrips wanting to whiten my teeth but then I realized that they don't whiten fillings. Has anyone had experience with this? Does the result look really bad?

Whatever is not part of your natural tooth won't whiten, personally i wouldn't use something that whitens drastically because it would be very noticeable but I don't think Crest Whitestrips whiten all that much so you might be ok.

how often should baking soda and peroxide be used on teeth?
I want to use the baking soda and peroxide methods to help whiten my teeth. How many times a week should baking soda be used? Hydrogen peroxide? I don't want to hurt my gums or take the enamel off my teeth, so what would you suggest? Thanks.

Daily - but tone it down a bit if you're concerned. A very diluted version of baking soda and water as a paste two or three times a day should be all you'd ever need. Look at the money you're saving on toothpaste! By the way, I replaced household cleanser with baking soda, my sinks have never been so clean and they seem to repel staining, shine, and don't have a soapy residue with this natural cleaner, if this helps.

What are some at home remedies to whiten teeth?
Nothing that involves baking soda
--------------------
Peel an orange, and rub the inside of the peel (the white part) over your teeth. It polishes them and removes some surface dirt making them whiter. Tastes a bit funky though. Good luck! :) x

How can I whiten my teeth naturally at home?
Any homemade stuff I could mix up myself? I heard baking soda works.
--------------------
The most common option used as homemade teeth whitening agent is baking soda, which has a mild bleaching action. Given that it is used in baking, it also implies safety. Baking soda is sprinkled on the toothbrush, and teeth then cleaned using a gentle, circular motion. Care should still be taken though, especially for people with gum sensitivity. Old wives' recipes often state that a paste of baking powder, a little salt, and a few drops of white vinegar, works effectively. Salt, used exactly as baking soda, is also touted as being a good teeth whitener. However, it might just be its osmosis, dehydrating action that makes teeth appear whiter, since dehydrated teeth look whiter. Lemon juice is often used, but it had high acidic levels, so teeth can weaken in the long run. Other natural, fruit options regard rubbing the inside of an orange peel on the teeth. A strawberry cut in half and the inside rubbed on teeth also works. Mashed strawberry can also be applied with a toothbrush. Apple cider vinegar is also said to be effective. Dried orange rind, and walnut bark, is also good. For other effective home teeth whitening solutions, you may wish to read about them here : http://teeth-whitening.my-fashion-house.

Do you think it's safe to get your teeth whitened while you're pregnant?
Professionally, of course.

I don't think there's any definite answer on this one. I remember reading that the medical community does not yet know the long term effects of this, so therefore it's best to stay away.

Electric Toothbrush / Teeth Whitening: Any Recommendations?
I'm after an electric toothbrush and just wondering if anybody uses one that they could recommend? Also, recommendations for something that helps get teeth nice and white, without the need to pay a few hundred pounds at the dentist. Many thanks in advance. PS. Non affiliated recommendations only please.

I've used an Oral B Precision electric toothbrush for a while now and it is satisfactory. I haven't tried other electric brushes so I can't give you a comparison. I also use dental floss because a toothbrush cannot always access the tiny gaps between your teeth. I don't believe in using tooth whiteners because teeth are not usually brilliantly white so I can't see why people cannot live with their natural colour. Just make sure that they are clean and healthy and not freakishly white.

Help! I need serious fashion & accessories help!!!+ Any teeth whitening tips?+Hairstyles?
D: Idk what to wear for school! I am going into 7th grade and I have NO IDEA what are the must haves for school nowadays! I'm a bit short for my age so some Junior sized stuff I don't fit in. D: And the worst part is.... MY MUM WON'T LET ME WEAR SKINNY JEANS!!! She thinks they are bad for you. :( So i need help on what shirts are cool, cute, and don't have things like Jonas Bros, or hannah montana, or HSM on them... I don't like t-shirts like that!!!!!!!!!!!! Also I need cute skirts, pants, shorts, and shoes ideas. Also what are some cute accessories? Like earrings, bracelets, and necklaces. Oh, and purses/bags. I don't wanna look like I'm 15, cause, well lets face it, its impossible for me to look 15 right now, and that would look weird, so 15+ age group stuff-Out of the question. Good stores would help. And tips on how to where stuff! Oh, and any teeth whitening tips? I can't use the whitening strips, so I need natural ways. I have found one about using strawberries, does it work? Sorry, I am asking so many questions at once. Pictures would GREATLY appreciated. Also, good hairstyles for medium-long, thick, hair? Thanks- Ele

Check out places like Aeropostale or Hollister. Their clothes are made for smaller-ish people (and if your pants are too long, try the shorter size. If they're still too long, just get 'em hemmed, it doesn't take much). As for your mom thinking skinny jeans are bad for you, I say whatevs. They're only bad for you if you wear them so tight they cut off your circulation..and that doesn't really look good on anyone. Stupid Today Show, right? XD Some things for whitening your teeth- this is something I've stuggled with for many years. I have issues about my teeth being perfectly white 24/7. I recently bought and thing of Arm&Hammer toothpaste (the kind with baking soda, for whitening your teeth) as well as a whitening gel that you put on top of your toothpaste whenever you brush. It works so amazingly, I think it's about $4, sold at drugstores. Works like magic! For your hair, straightening and curling on a daily basis can get frustrating, trust me. Try cute braids, or a super-high ponytail. Side ponytails are cute too, especially when they're a bit wavy. Good luck on your seventh grade- middle school sucks, but you'll get out of it soon enough! :]

Question about this method of teeth whitening.?
So I found out some methods of teeth whitening that sound pretty good. I heard about strawberries, extra virgin olive oil and hydrogen peroxide. I'm leaning towards the peroxide. So I was wondering how do I use it. Do I miss it with my toothpaste? Put it on my toothbrush and brush with it? Swish it around in my mouth like mouthwash? Also, I was wondering when to use it. After brushing? I use Act mouthwash, do I use it before or after using that? In between brushing and the mouthwash? Because I have to wait 30 minutes to eat after using the Act. I know I make it seem complicated, but I don't want the different things to interfere with each other. Thanks so much!!

Mmk so i've used peroxide and it really works. i would just poor a little in a cup and add about half parts water then use it like mouth wash after brushing. Using act afterwords might burn though. Goood luck! it's kinda gross.

Quick ways to whiten teeth?
I have Listerine Whitening Strips, & some whitening tooth paste. I've been brushing and applying them frequently, but I was wondering if there's like a food or something that will help whiten teeth. (I'm trying to whiten my teeth as fast as I possibly can!)
