I recently got crest advanced seal whitestrips. I was going to start using them but I am not home every night to do it so i was wondering if it mattered if i used them the skipped days? It probably wouldnt work right?

I use crest professional strips, and even tho i skip many days or even weeks, they still work. ill use them every once in awhile when my teeth look like theyre a bit dull. when i WAS religiously using them, my gums would get very sore and even bleed because of the chemicals, so maybe its better to not use them every day.

Is it bad to get a dental cleaning after doing home whitening kits?
I'm 16 and I'm seeing the dentist in a few days... I have been using a whitening kit for about a week now and I'm afraid if I get my teeth professionally whitened it might damage them..

Creast Whitening Strips ruined my teeth :( HELP.?
Im 15 and I tryed creast white strips, that are suppose to whiten your teeth. and as the instructions said, to leave them on for 30 minutes, i did. when i took them off, the stained all white patches all over my teeth, and its VERY notice able, i ruined my teeth really badly.. does anyone have tips on how to get my teeth one colour? it looks real bad, and schools starting in 3 weeks, should I consult a dentist?

For me they all did except for one small on, but it's not very noticeable anymore. If they don't go away try holding your toothbrush horizontally, dipping the bristles just a little bit into powder baking soda, and brushing your teeth for about one minute with that. Try buying a plain box of Arm & Hammer baking soda. Get your toothbrush wet, and just dip it into the box to get some baking soda on your toothbrush. Brush and rinse. Just do that two or three times a day, as well as using mouthwash ( I recommend Crest ProHealth ) It's mighty nice. The soda is nice and gentle on your teeth and gets them super white without hurting them. Don't forget to floss!

With aquafresh you get whitening results in just three days by wearing a tray for 30-45 minutes With Rembrandt, you get to customize the trays to your teeth, its a 20 minute treatment with a 10 minute relaxation period ... you do this for like 4 times ... Its alot of work ... But you really don't have to do it all in one day though ... Also to maintain the "white look" you may want to use a whitening toothpast - crest day and night toothpaste works well or aquafresh ultimate white tooth paste Rembrandt is cheaper than aquafresh trays, your looking at spending $40 max. the toothpaste should be like $3 (crest) and $1.30 for aquafresh Hope that helps ;)

Question about tooth whitening?
I recently had my braces removed and was thinking about whitening my teeth. Would it be a good idea to take a regular bottle of 3% hydrogen peroxide and foam it in my mouth, then put my essix retainers over it then rinse. Would this work or be dangerous?

Not sure.. I know a lot of people that do that.. but you can (SAFELY) Use toothpaste with baking soda, and before you brush your teeth, dip your toothbrush in baking soda. Works wonders! =)
