I'm 16 and I'm seeing the dentist in a few days... I have been using a whitening kit for about a week now and I'm afraid if I get my teeth professionally whitened it might damage them..

That can be too much bleaching and cause problems with the enamel that protects your teeth. It Can also cause sensitivity to your teeth and gums. Consult with your dentist before you bleach anymore.
