I believe I have had my front teeth treated with veneering porcelain. The original area of the teeth is white, but you the restored bits are clear-ish... and you can see that my original teeth weren't smooth, more like saw blades than knife blades. I understand that the white strips act upon the surface of the teeth... meaning there's not much they can do when the surface is already coated with porcelain, yeah...? What should I do?

You can try laser whitening on your teeth (I mean the lingual side) and see if it improves anything. Sometimes, the veneers are perfectly fine but the cement used to stick them to the teeth isn't good and becomes yellow. So you might try to solve this problem by going to another dentist, taking the veneers off and recementing them with a better cement.

How often should I apply baking soda to my toothpaste to whiten teeth?

This combined with the crest white strips(do every six months) made my teeth shine

Which kind of Crest Whitestrips should I buy for my first time ever whitening my teeth?
I'm 18 and I've never had the need to whiten my teeth before but recently noticed they were looking a little dull (probably from drinking more coffee and sweet tea within the last year or two) and I decided to go buy some Crest Whitestrips. I would recommend switching to a toothpaste for sensitive teeth while you are using the whitening strips. I whitened my teeth and it was painful just to drink water from a drinking fountain because they were so sensitive! (Sensitivity happens with all teeth whitening, and tends to be worse with the faster acting formulas because they are stronger). Sensodyne worked well for me. Also make sure not to leave them on longer then stated - I made the terrible mistake of sleeping in the strips one night - I couldn't use them again for at least a week because my teeth were in so much pain! After the 3rd time of doing it i noticed a big difference. I used a teaspoon of soda and made it into a paste by adding a little water then brushed with it for about 4 mins. Rinse really well as you don;t want the soda left on your teeth. Then floss to get it all out.

They are using a process called zoom whitening and it's all done in one afternoon visit. It lasts a lifetime. Teeth not whitening evenly?
I just started using Aquafresh pro-gentle whitening trays 5 days ago and they have whitened my teeth so far but there aren't coming out evenly. I have a small section on most of my top front teeth that is whiter than the rest of my teeth. I'm up for my next dentist appointment and was wondering that if a good cleaning would help me out. Before I started whitening my teeth were all 1 shade. So i guess my question is, why are my teeth not coming out all the same color? and Is there anything I can do to help they come out equally?

How can I get my teeth whiter?
I always brush my teeth at least 2x a day and they refuse to be white. They never grew in properly. They're small and there is a gap between the front two. On top of this, they're yellow. I am addicted to white strips, but recently found out it is not healthy. So, aside from brushing three times a day, flossing i.e...
