Does getting your teeth whitened at the dentist hurt?
I've heard it does. How do they whiten them? Are there different ways? If you have stains from your braces, can those stains be removed by getting them whitened?

My son and daughter had their teeth whitened from the dentist, they didn't have any troubles, but they were instructed to drink plenty of water!! They have to make mouth trays which they use in the office and then you can take them home to continue using as needed. I have heard that if you have stains from braces that it's hard to get the stains off....Good Luck

Would my teeth become whiter if I used a sundbed at the same time as using Crest Whitestrips?
I know that dentists use UV light in the whitening process and I have a product called Britey Whitez by Fiesta Sun that is used to whiten your teeth as you tan and is activated by the UV light, I wondered if the whitestrips would have the same affect as they have more whhtening ingredient than Britey Whitez!

Maybe when your skin was browner your teeth would look whiter! Not recommending sunbeds though..they are not good for the skin. I'm very surprised someone above advocated this And called themselves a dentist AND doctor!!

use baking soda infact arm and hammer has a great tooth paste and it whitened my teeth.you could also use crest whitening strips but not too often because it weekens your teeth. and i know this sounds super gross but you should try brushing your teeth with dove soep.it really works after a few weeks you could even look it up it does work.but use that for only your teeth then wash your mouth with toothpaste afterward like you would noramaly do.for some reason the soep gets rid of plaqe better than a toothbrush. also never use salt it eats away at your enamle and drinks .also if you ask this question on google you ind a lot of answers from other peoples yahoo's,you might find my answers are all the same for whitening.oh and too much coffe really is hard on your teeth. in pharmacys they cell these weird mini tooth brushes for people who are on the go.whenever you are done drinking coffi you can brush your teeth with it.good luck

It is NOT a good idea to whiten your teeth while you have braces. The parts under the braces and glue will stay dirty, so when your braces get removed, your teeth will be spotty. No dentist will do whitening while you have braces. I wouldn't recommend it.

I got my teeth whiten by zoom and i dident get a list of what i shouldent eat. Anyways is it ok for me to eat peanut-butter & jelly sandwhich & spicy chicken wings by kfc or will this stain my teeth.

Don't eat anything that would stain a white t-shirt a color. Eat like vanilla yoga rt, mashed potatoes, chicken sandwich with no tomatoes/lettuce, fettuccine alfredo....white food for 24-48 hrs. Don't drink anything with color either. This is so important, I am so surprised they didn't give you this information.
