Original Crest whitening is my personal favorite as far as toothpastes go, but keep in mind toothpaste can only do so much. If you want really white teeth, professional trays are the way to go with a kit from your dental professional. I used to whiten teeth for a living and my favorite way to whiten is with a carbomide peroxide solution that a patient sleeps in overnight for around a week. As long as a patient has no crowns or fillings in the front and they aren't sensitive I usually prescribe a 20% formula, and Ultradent's brand from the Opalescence line of formulas are my faves. Laser whitening and other methods I am still skeptical about (though I have done them on patients) but the week-long program gets great results and don't ruin or remove any of the natural enamel on teeth. Whitening toothpastes use micro abrasives and small amounts of peroxide and will remove certain "surface stains" but can't touch the older stains embedded in the tubules of dental enamel sadly...I am (unfortunately) a heavy smoker myself and use a regimen of professional whitening with custom trays and carbomide peroxide and whitening toothpaste to make sure my teeth don't restain, with a one night touch up procedure every year and my tetth (thankfully) are sparkly white and nobody notices I smoke. How can i whiten my teeth fast?
iv'e had yellow teeth since i was 11! i have no peroxide or baking soda (i dont want them either) i dont like whitning strips the faster - the faster the better 1 weeks time is good. i also have braces on top row

I went to my dentist and he gave me something called DayWhite and it worked GREAT!!! They took impressions of my teeth then made molds similar to what invisalign trays look like and then I just put the DayWhite whitening stuff in them and use them for 30 min at a time and they worked great!!!

is there any whitening product that will work for me??
i took liquid medication from the time i was a born till about 10 or 11 (i'm 27 now) i believe the medicine stained my teeth. they are not horrible but i've tried many (and expensive) teeth whitening systems, strips ect and nothing worked. should i give up on OTC whitening and just go to the dentist or is there possibly something that may work?

Brushing teeth with hydrogren peroxide?
I have been considering doing Zoom teeth whitening, however I have a friend who is in the dental industry and he said I would get the same result if I brushed with Hydrogen peroxide. Is that true? And why do some people say gargle with salt water?

Also for whitening your teeth you can brush with Baking Soda mixed with your toothpaste or by itself. It is VERY effective at teeth whitening, but it is also very abrasive and suggested that you only do this 1-2 times per week. You can do both together even, just not to often.

Most of the Americans I own have really discoloured teeth, I have installed wash basins into their huts and given them tooth brushes, but they dont use them.Can I buy a solution or liquid ,which can be mixed with their soup, which will whiten their teeth?

why every time i use crest teeth white strips my two front teeth Start to hurt?
When i use pro effect crest whitening strips my two front teeth hurt as if i bit into something really cold. The pain lasts if the leave the strip on and if i take it off it goes away in about a minuet. can someone please help me and tell me if you have experienced this too?

There are tiny tubes in your teeth, sensitivity sensors, if you will... and the more you whiten you open up those sensitivity sensors, the more sensitive and weak and susceptible your teeth are to sensitivity weakening. Over-whitening can lead to weakening teeth. You will essentially wear at the enamel, just follow the instructions and brush lightly after ever meal to prevent stains.

Yea girlie, I am totally against commercial teeth whiteners too. I talked to my dentist about it. She has bleached her teeth before and also brushes 5 to 6 times a day, yea she's a bit obsessed. But she told me about this trick to whiten teeth. It doesn't work as great as bleaching but its better than nothing. 1: Brush you teeth with your regular toothpaste. 2: Then brush with baking soda and a bit of hydrogen peroxide. 3: Gargle with a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and water. One part hydrogen peroxide and two parts water. 4: THEN brush again with flouride toothpaste. Most toothpaste contains fluoride but I've found that the toothpaste that is made for little kids have a higher percentage of fluoride. So get some toddler toothpaste. Always brush with fluoride toothpaste and/or use a fluoride rinse (ACT mouthwash) after any teeth whitening process. Fluoride will help strengthen the teeth so its very important. I've got a bit yellowish teeth,but I would like to get them white. I don't want anything that is expensive or anything that damages the enamel, I have considered crest white strips, but they only last UP TO a year.Can I whiten them and after that just keep them white by washing and flossing? what are some ways you can whiten your teeth?
like i don't want to get whitening strips or that bleaching done but i brush my teeth twice a day with this whitening toothpaste and i use Listerine twice a day so how do i get them whiter it is not like they are extremely yellow or anything but they are not white enough i think. Thanks
