How to safely whiten teeth?

Teeth whiteners weaken teeth so is there a safer way to do it? I find regular brushing doesn't do it for me.
--------------------
Yea girlie, I am totally against commercial teeth whiteners too. I talked to my dentist about it. She has bleached her teeth before and also brushes 5 to 6 times a day, yea she's a bit obsessed. But she told me about this trick to whiten teeth. It doesn't work as great as bleaching but its better than nothing. 1: Brush you teeth with your regular toothpaste. 2: Then brush with baking soda and a bit of hydrogen peroxide. 3: Gargle with a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and water. One part hydrogen peroxide and two parts water. 4: THEN brush again with flouride toothpaste. Most toothpaste contains fluoride but I've found that the toothpaste that is made for little kids have a higher percentage of fluoride. So get some toddler toothpaste. Always brush with fluoride toothpaste and/or use a fluoride rinse (ACT mouthwash) after any teeth whitening process. Fluoride will help strengthen the teeth so its very important. Hope it works out well for you, Cheers!
