I was only supposed to wear them for 45 minutes, but I fell asleep and woke up 2 hours after I was supposed to take them out. My teeth feel SO sensitive now! They feel like cold ice has hit them...but it's been constantly like that overnight! I contacted AquaFresh, but am not sure what to do in the meantime! I took pain relievers, but that was 3 hours ago & they still feel awful! HELP!!

Go buy some sensodyne toothpaste and use that when brushing your teeth. Dont worry about it. Also buy some fluoride rinse such as ACT brand. Use it every night after brushing, before bedtime. Dont drink or eat after using the ACT rinse. It will help reduce sensitivity and strengthen your teeth again. Also the sensitive toothpaste by sensodyne will help reduce sensitivity. For a few weeks dont drink soda (or use a straw) and stay away from any acidic foods like oranges and lemons.

Best teeth whitener for very sensitive teeth?
I have tried using various white strips (the old crest white strips, listerine, and colgate supreme) and a couple whitening trays but with everyone after the first treatment my teeth become sensitive and on the second i get VERY painful shocks in my teeth which i think is from the nerves. I dont know what the problem is but i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. P.S. i use sensodyne religiously and it works great just not when i try to whiten my teeth.

What happens if you use whitening toothpaste and you have a filling?
I might need to get a filling in one of my front teeth, so it will be on display for everyone to see. I am really nervous about this and I'm scared it is going to be noticeable. If I use whitening toothpaste will it just whiten everything except the filling and make the filling noticeable?

I want to try to get my teeth looking a little better this school year, but I'm on a really really strict budget and have no dental care, so no professional cleaning/whitening for me. How can I whiten my teeth w/o buying anything expensive?

I kept getting pain in my gums-I've never had anything wrong with my teeth in my life-no cavitees ever, no braces, nodda. I go see the dentist and they tell me that whitenner causes the nerves to start showing up above the gumlines. Those nerves never go back inside. It's painful when it acts up. I now have to buy sensodyne. ouch. so just remember when you try any chemicals that are burning the yellows off teeth, they will also burn the gums slowly. I didn't even have anything I should have been worying about-so if you don't either, I'd say skip it.
