Use baking soda. Mix a small (like dime size) of baking soda and water together to make a paste. scope some on the brushes of your tooth brush. brush normally. Will taste salty but do not swallow and rinse well. Do not do this daily maybe once a week or every other week even longer. It is very abrasive and can damage the enamel of the teeth. You can also try peroxide and brush with that too. try it and see if it does anything. You can always use those crest stripes at the store. Everyone said those work great. Some people can only do it once then their teeth are to sensitive for it again.

ok Crest White strips are a little expensive but work really well. In order for them to really work you must follow the directions carefully and do it everyday for a month twice a day. It worked for me and it has worked for many of my friends too. The only thing i would warn you is that one time I fell asleep with them on. The next morning my gums and mouth were so sensitive and sore it was unbelievable. I couldnt even suck air through my teeth without it hurting so be really carefull. Also if u dont want to spend alot of money u can get generic brands from Rite Aid or CVS or another drug store, just make sure they have the same active ingredients. Good luck!

i dont think theres an actual possible effective way to get your teeth whiter with your braces on, you cant use whitening strips since the brackets are in the way. either way, its not actually possible. but when you do get your braces off, consider going to see a cosmetic dentist in your area, you can get a take-home bleaching tray with impressions of your teeth, your teeth will begin to be white within 2 weeks, and the cost is from $300-$500 depending on the location. you can expect great results, and i did the same thing after i got my braces off. so itll definetely be satisfying.

I was thinking about getting some of those teeth whitening strips but wanted to see people's opinion. Do they really work? Do they make your teeth look fake? Are white spots on your teeth normal after having ZOOM whitening done?
The first 3 days were great, woke up on day 4 with white spots on my teeth. I followed all directions, no soda, coffee, tobacco, red sauces, etc. Now they look worse than before! Will this go away? Any suggestions on what to do because as you know ZOOM is not cheap!

well I had braces for about a year and when the were FINALLY taken off you could still see where they were. well that was a little over 8 months ago and I have been brushing my teeth regularly and they ARE wight and healthy, but I can still see the slight discloration from where they were. will the gels and stuff help to get rid of this??
