I have super sensitive teeth. I started using crest white strips and after 2 days my teeth started to hurt every time I ate or drank anything. I've quit using them but I still want whiter teeth. Is there any type of whitening system I can use that won't make my teeth more sensitive?

The same thing happened to me, my teeth were so sensitive that I couldn't even sleep because they kept aching, and I couldn't eat or drink anything hot or cold. So now I just use whitening toothpaste once a day and sensitive teeth toothpaste the other time during the day that I brush my teeth.

Recommendations for teeth whitening?
In 14 days I will FINALLY be getting my braces taken off after almost 7 years of being in them. My question is what is the best over the counter whitening system for somebody who wants great results in a couple days time? I realize that the best option for me would be to go to the dentist and have him whiten my teeth but I just do not have the resources for that right now. My husband, who has never seen me without braces yet, will be home from his deployment 5 days after I get them off and I just want them to look nice and bright. Any suggestions?

tooth whitening system ! How do I produce tooth whitening system? slowly giving up?
My friends couldn't give me real answers on teeth whitening kits. I want to get super white teeth, but I can't afford the $500 visit to the dentist. Do you know anything that works for super white teeth? Maybe a product I can use for my teeth whitening kits question?

Well I'm 12.And I was on google for soft prices on health-care and I came on teeth whitening in the dental categories.By the way the website is pricedoc.com. My friend katie showed me all about it and I was amazed on how small the prices were. The cheapest price for teeth whitening was 250$ around here in New Jersey. Also, beware of how many times you whiten your teeth once you become an adult. Whitening eventually removes the pigment from your teeth. The more times you whiten the worse it gets! I have seen, at least, three patients who have whitened their teeth so many times that their front teeth are becoming clear instead of tooth colored. Instead of looking like teeth - they look like opaque windows. Don't do that to your teeth!

Your suppose to put your toothpaste on then sprinkle/dip it in baking soda. Without toothpaste you won't be doing much to help clean your teeth. First I would recommend that you consider having a dental cleaning and exam. If you have buildup (tartar, plaque, stain) the whitening process won't work that well. The crest whitestrips work well and are probably your lowest cost alternative. We sell them in my office ($75.00) and they are 3 times stronger and there are 3 weeks worth. I like them because they work better and if you are happy with how they look 1/2 way thru the process you just hold onto the rest and you have more to do a "touch up" 6 months later. Good luck! ok just got my teeth whitening kit from the dentist and he told me to wear my upper gum shield for 2 nights and then wear the bottom shield for 2 nights (repeating this proceeder for 2 weeks). both gum shields feel more comforable if i had them in together though, so i'm thinking about just wearing them both for 2 nights and having a rest from it totally for 2 days and carrying it on. as anyone done this procedure? did you sleep with both of them in at once?, thanks

Your teeth will become whiter because, I put on a whitening stripe that I was only suppose to leave on for 30-45 minutes and I had it on for about 1 hour and 30 minutes, my teeth got extremely white when I took it off... But I also think it depends on the company whitening stripes you are using.
