Re Teeth whitening?
I have heard this can make the teeth sensitive and weaken the enamel. Has anyone else heard this report? What is good today , will be no good tomorrow.

Yes..it does both and if you have a lot of tooth decay the stronger whitenings would be out of the question because your mouth would be in agony from the sensitivity. If you have good teeth you can do the stronger ones..otherwise use the crest strips. This is what my dentist suggested to me because I had lots of cavities.

Can you get your teeth whitened with Brite Smile if you have a permanent retainer on bottom teeth?
After my braces came off, my orthodontist placed a permanent retainer in the back of my lower front teeth and was wondering if it's safe to have teeth bleached? I've heard it can be bad to do this and it could mess up the retainer?

I have searched the internet and the only problems people have is with striping, where the bar across your teeth prevents a strip of your teeth from whitening like the rest, but if I can remember, permanent retainers are only on the inside? Others have had questions but have not been told to wait to whiten their teeth. Ask your orthodontist if i you still have doubts but if it won't ruin your teeth, it won't ruin the retainer. So I whitened my teeth professionally, instead of white strips. I've heard people say that's gross!? I don't get why, my teeth weren't yellow before though..they were just a darker shade of white.

I always brush my teeth and just got back into the habit of flossing them. Well, I was considering trying Trident gum the one that whitens your teeth? Has anybody tried this gum before?Did your teeth get whiter? Does it remove plaque and coffee stains from your teeth? I have an orthodontist appointment and the doctor told me to be sure to brush my teeth and to floss them before I meet with him? I was just wondering if the gum will help as well as brushing and flossing my teeth? I really want to take care of my teeth.

Question about Target Brand teeth whitening strips?
so i got these target-brand teeth strips, and i read the instructions and everything, but i got a little confused. it said they dissolve after 10 minutes, but all it does is turns into sticky gel-looking stuff. I left it in for like an hour, and it all disolved completely, and there was nothing left on my teeth. . BUT, reading some questions on here, i saw that many people were asking when they should take it out of their mouth?? does this mean i have to wash my mouth out after it dissolves in 10 minutes or something?? should i not leave it on my teeth for an hour? and also, i went to brush my teeth before putting the strip on tonight and i noticed my teeth hurt a little?

Teeth yellow again after teeth whitening procedure?
Hi...I recently bleached my teeth (2 months ago) and was satisfied with the immediate result. I didn't drink or eat any colored foods for 24 hours, and avoided them for 3 more days. I do not smoke, and drink coffee maybe twice a week, and with milk.. Thing is, my teeth were yellow again in just a month! And now, after 2 months, they are almost the same as before. Wasn't this supposed to last for longer? I don't understand, I spent 400 dollars on this, and it was a complete waste of money.. I'm thinking of going to the dental office and complaining..

I have a couple questions, if anyone has any tips then I'd love to know them! 1. What are some easy and healthy ways to whiten teeth without spending a fortune? 2. I want to grow my hair out, any tips on how to keep my hair healthy? I occasionally straighten my hair but I always try to use thermal protectants. 3. Any tips on doing your own eyebrows? (Using Tweezers) 4. Unfortunately, I'm starting to get a bit of darker hair on my upper lip... what do you think the best way to get rid of this would be? 5. My nails are always peeling like in half at the tip of them, anyone know why this happens or what I can do to prevent it?
