It works for sure. I had my teeth whitened at the dentists. They made these little impression trays of my teeth and gave me some kind of a solution to put into them and wear them overnight. The dentist told me that my teeth will be really white in 2 weeks. I did it for 4 days and my teeth got like 3 shades lighter. It was amazing. THe only problem is....your gums get irritated and then hot, cold, air anything pretty much irritates your teeth. But that goes away and the little bit of suffering is ok in the end.

It is not advisable to brush your teeth with strawberries. The sugar and acid in the strawberry will harm your teeth more than it will help if you don't immediately brush your teeth with regular toothpaste. If you choose to brush with strawberries, be sure to brush your teeth immediately afterwards with fluoride toothpaste, and also to floss.

When they say "gently brightens teeth" what do they mean?

That actually sounded really stupid.. but just to comfirm.. Is that the same way as saying that it whitens teeth? I have braces so I obviously don't want to use whitening toothpaste and I picked up a tube of Extreme Clean Empowermint by Aquafresh.. I read the back of the tube and box and it said nothing about whitening teeth.. but when I decided to google this toothpaste I found out that it said it "gently brightens teeth".. I should probably stop using it.. right?

Bicarb soda and lemon juice works - try brushing your teeth with it. Whitening toothpastes also work but don't use any other than Colgate for an extended period of time because they can sensitise your teeth (make them hurt when you eat hot and cold food). Sensodyne makes a whitening toothpaste which dooesn't hurt your teeth you could try that. Sometimes people just have naturally yellow teeth so these things won't do much as they only remove surface stains. If this is you, the only thing that will work is going to the dentist for a whitening treatment. They won't do this if you're too young though as it can highly sensitise your teeth. Cigarettes and coffee stain your teeth so stay away from both if you want pearly whites (: Good Luck!

Well, I'm terrible at remembering to brush my teeth. I usually only do it once a day; when I wake up. easiest way is to gargle bleach around your teeth for about 20-30 seconds then wash your mouth with water. i have braces and i too forget to brush my teeth. use bleach it works with braces

Okay, so I'm overly obbsessed with teeth and i brush on a day and night basis but they're just clean, not white. Baking soda will be the cheapest and effective remedy. But since you are broke. Try gurgling on pure lemon juice or plain white vinegar, before brushing your teeth.

Actually, the answer is quite simple. Just floss and brush every single time you eat every single day. Brush very well and thoroughly, and use affordable whitening toothpaste- Colgate, Crest, or if you can afford it, Rembrandt. There is also whitening Mouth Wash. But basically, if you are on a budget like me, just do the simple things. Just simply flossing every day will really whiten your teeth. Also, as the other young lady mentioned, use baking soda to brush your teeth with. It is very inexpensive. But don't use it too much. There are also ways you can help avoid getting yellow teeth: 1. Don't smoke 2. Avoid eating chocolate 3. Avoid carbonated soft drinks 4. Avoid drinking tea And so forth.

I've tried Crest... wasn't worth the price. I haven't tried the Aquafresh, but if you read online reviews they're not very impressive. The one that gets best reviews and is most affordable is Rembrandt. I personally haven't tried their whitening system, but I do use their toothpastes and they work great! Try using Rembrandt.

Here's a very simple technique that I've been doing for a few years now... and with great results. Keep a bottle of hydrogen peroxide and antibacterial mouthwash where you brush your teeth. Preferably before (but after is OK too) you brush, take a sip of peroxide and a sip of mouthwash together. Swish it around thoroughly in your mouth then spit out the solution (you'll see some foaming on your tongue and teeth... that's normal). Then brush your teeth as usual, but don't forget to brush your tongue. Over time, the peroxide can "potentially" effect your taste buds if you don't do this final step (per my dentist). You'll quickly see cleaner, sparkly whiter teeth AND healthier gums AND better breath... and at very little extra cost. I always get "rave reviews" on my teeth... And I'm almost 60 years old.

Teeth brush-on whitening?

I have been trying to find a way to remove cigarette / coffee / wine stains from my teeth. The strips won't work well, since I have crocked teeth :) and most of the stains are on the inner side. I once read about some brush-on whitener but I am not sure what it was. It was that you just brush it on like toothpaste but don't rinse and keep it overnight. Anyone knows what I am talking about? I have never heard of brush- on whitening but I do know of toothpastes that will help you remove stains. Arm and Hammer whitening toothpaste works AMAZING! I personally used this and my teeth went three shades lighter after one week. When I ran out of toothpaste though, the whiteness faded away :/
