Very little on the mouthguard, because even if you put a lot it will get squeezed out resulting in : 1. You will run out too soon 2. The squeezed out material will get amudged all over the gum area and burn the area.

How fast will Hydrogen Peroxide whiten your teeth?
I have a dance recital this thursday and we have to wear BRIGHT RED lipstick and it makes my yellow teeth really noticeable! So I'm gonna start burshing 2 times a day (i normally get once a day every 2 days.. gross, i know :/ ) and gargle with hydrogen peroxide. How much whiter will this make my teeth in 4 days?

do not use hydrogen peroxide, you can use hydrogen peroxide when it is in another thing like whitestrips, but it is NOTTTT good for your gums and tissues or teeth in your mouth at all!. it starts to break down the tissues in your mouth and the tissue will slough off in your mouth, and you dont want that!

Whitening my teeth with gel, and it isn't even...?
I just got my braces off today, and I went home right away and started day 1 of 5 of my whitening kit. It's the kind that has gel in tubes that I sqeeze into a mouth tray and leave it on for 5 minutes. I know today was only the first day, but thers a few spots here and there that went super white, but the majority of it is still kind of yellow (they're not grotesquely yellow, but I got my braces on right after getting pregnant and hit with severe morning sickness and then had a young child... lets just say I couldn't brush as often as I would have liked to!). My main concern is, will the colour difference with the spots get worse if I keep using it, or will they eventually all become the same nice white once I've finished the whole weeks worth? I'm a little paranoid, I don't want to ruin my brand new smile!

i have something similar to you (i got custom bleaching trays with the bleach from my dentist) and will say that the first day i had a few spots that were darker than the rest of my teeth...i kept bleaching and they went away. my bleaching kit is different though, bc i had to wear them overnight for 2 weeks and then after that, whenever i needed touch-ups. i think you will be fine to continue using it, but i would suggest that you call your dentist and ask him/her - better to be safe than sorry! :) sorry i couldn't help much! good luck! =) edit: i just wanted to say that the home remedies that were provided below should only be done 1x a wk...some of those things, if used frequently, can cause damage to the enamel.

I have 2 porcelin veneers (upper front teeth) that are looking grey and ick...i want to get?

I need another method to help prevent plaque from forming on my teeth and a way to whiten my teeth fast?

there is no hard and fast rule that you cannot use it but usually its not advisable .Cosmetic or aesthetics like teeth whitening should always be done after all the necessary treatment like orthodontic correction or fillings are over . Anyways these supermarket whitening kits don't last very long so very soon you will be back to your original shade of teeth .

"arm&Hammer" baking soda okay for brushing my teeth?
I heard that brushing my teeth with baking soda is good for whitening teeth or removing plaque. However im not sure what kind of baking soda i would have to use. I have the arm & hammer baking soda and is it okay if i use that product?

I have used Rapid White, 3 stage kit and it was absolutly fantastic, If your from the uk you can buy it from Boots. But I really recommend it. My teeth were bright white in a matter of days (i'm a smoker and I drink coke alot)

i have been using crest whitening expressions toothpaste, and my teeth have been getting whiter except for my eye teeth. they are still discolored..why does this happen? how can i fix this?

An easy way to fix that is to get a whitening kit that contains a pen like applicator. Then you only have to apply it to the specific teeth you want whitened. The strips are ok if you want to whiten everything but if one tooth isn't keeping up this is your best bet.
