need help
--------------------
Like the other person said, most people wait until after the braces are removed to whiten their teeth because if you whiten them now, having braces makes it difficult to clean, so you may need to whiten them again later. On the other hand, if you do wish to whiten them now, many of the whitening agents that are done in the office do not need to be in direct contact with all teeth surfaces in order to whiten. Meaning, as long as the whitening agent is placed around the braces, the surfaces under the braces should also get whitened. (Although you won't really be able to tell anyways) If you really want to pursue this while you have braces, ask your dentist and s/he can tell you if their in office whitening system will work around the braces. Aside from that, over the counter products probably won't be too effective and they'll be difficult to administer with the braces.
