Do teeth whitening strips weaken teeth?

If so, how long do they stay weakened... or is it permenant?

Safely whitening Teeth? :S?

I am a Teenager and I recently stopped brushing my teeth for days at a time. Now I think of it I regret it a lot :S But now I Have started to Brush my teeth 2 times a day. The problem is that they are slightly yellow.... Is there any brand or product I can use which will whiten my teeth without any abrasives or ingredients which can damage my teeth or gums? and also if so, how long roughly would it take? And one last thing, I read About Orbit White Chewing Gum. Apparently it whitens teeth? could i have some information please :P help with any of this would be appreciated. Thank you! :D

A lot of products will make your teeth sensitive but I use plus white speed whitening gel. I have really sensitive teeth and that hasn't been bad on them at all, it's cheap, and it seems to be working! You're not supposed to get it on your gums but then again you aren't supposed to get any whitening stuff on your gums really. Also, Orbit white may help but it won't give you dramatically whiter teeth. :)

I believe Scope sells a whitening mouthwash now. I just saw a commercial for it the other day. Have you tried brushing with just baking soda and peroxide? My hygienist told me to do this for whiter teeth. It tastes like crap, but in a few days you'll tell a difference.

i use Crest Whitening strips and they work great. my teeth are not sensitive or anything. i get a lot of compliments on how white they are. my dentist told me using them is fine. However, i do not use them everyday or twice a day. i use them once a week and i also use mouth wash. Good luck

Can I take teeth whitening capsules through hand luggage at airport?

Hi. I have no luggage with me so cannot put in hold. However in hand luggage I need to bring with me my dental treatment I am on, which consists of a brace and small clear tooth whitening capsules. (they do look a bit like cynaide!)..... however, I really need to continue with the treament and cannot break this off due to more treatment in a few weeks. Any suggestions how not to get them taken off me at the airporrt security after x ray? They could cut one open to examine but not each one. I do the crest white strips--the 2 week ones. I have had great results. i get compliments all the time. I followed the 2 week steps and them i bought another box just to "touch up" once in awhile. I've not tried anything else. But everyone's teeth are different---- I don't smoke or drink coffee so my stains weren't as bad as others.
