I have been mixing 1 teaspoon of Baking soda, a few drops of white vinegar, and a dash of salt and brushing my teeth with that. How long should it take for my teeth to get white? My teeth aren't incredibly bad to start with I just want them a little whiter.

If you're going to get your teeth whitened, definitely do it at the dentists. They are certified, they know what they are doing, and they'll give you good, sound advice to keep it in tip-top shape. Depending on how many times you need to whiten your teeth (and it also depends if you insurance covers it), it can range anywhere from 200-600 dollars. I had it done and it worked wonderfully. Just a note: my gums were sensitive after the procedures and my dentist told me to avoid coffee and anything that I eat that will stain my teeth. If you really wanted to save some money and do it naturally, you can gargle your own urine three times a day and watch your teeth slowly get whitened.

Should i brush my teeth with crest whitening paste 1hour before i use crest whitening strips or not?
When i get my paste i was thinking about brushing them 1hour before i use the strips. I would only do this once a day and before bed an i would brush my teeth in the morning with a different toothpaste e.g sensitive one. :D

i read about using hydrogen peroxide & baking soda together to whiten my teeth so i decided to try it. i started brushing my teeth with it and felt an extreme stinging sensation. so i gargled it out with peroxide like the next step was, and the bottle burst. so then i gargle it out with water. my gums have white spots that hurt really bad and were bleeding. whats wrong and what can i do to start healing ?

You really need to see a doctor, and in the meanwhile you should gargle with salty water as much as possible, and after food. The doc may give you antibiotics to hold infection back. Man, that really must hurt, get better soon!

Zoom teeth whitening and breastfeeding?
Does anyone have experience with whitening while breastfeeding? My dentist says to stop breastfeeding in order to have it done. I am finding mixed information online. I guess my question is can I just pump and dump on the day of the procedure or does the bleach pose some long lasting effect in my breastmilk?

The bleach is only applied to your teeth... I don't see why it would be an issue that much. The ADA says you shouldn't, but there's almost no research on it. Honestly, I'd just wait until you're done breastfeeding.

Is there a natural way to whiten teeth?
My teeth have never been pristine white but the older I get the more I desire pristine white teeth. I have tried varies gum, toothpastes, strips and mouth washes that whiten teeth - they work but the problem is that they make my teeth really really sensitive (including the ones meant for people with sensitivity issues) so I give up using them. I am wondering if anybody knows any tried and true methods of whitening teeth naturally? Or am I doomed to suffer sensitivity while whitening?

ok so i bought the teeth whitening kit where they make a mould of your teeth and you put the teeth whitening gel on the mould and wear it to sleep. so my problem is when i put it in my mouth i start producining alot of salivia, and im afraid i will choke in my sleep? is it possible to choke in your sleep and die, and why do i produce so much salvia once i put it in will this go away?

What is the best toothpaste to whiten teeth?
I brush my teeth twice a day everyday and they are very straight and nicely shaped, but they aren't perfectly white. They are somewhat yellow. My ob/gyn said its fine to use crest white-strips while im pregnant. Are crest white-strips any good?? are they worth the money or should i wait until after i have my baby to get professional whitening? Also i am getting professional pictures done and i want a beautiful white smile to show off my straight teeth which i had braces on for almost 3 years so its a big deal to have the smile i always dreamed of :)))).
