My teeth are really white- except in between them in the spaces-- it is a little less white than the rest. I am kind of self concious about it. Would using whitening strips get in those touch in between spots? What over the counter whitening products work best? I bought Rembrandt once and it was a 2 hours whitening system-- I think it was too concentrated because after about 5 mins I got this AWFUL shooting pain in my teeth. Thanks!

I would get the tooth whitening gel pens and carefully apply it in-between the teeth. Thats what my dentist said to watch out for I wouldn't whiten your teeth anymore until what's in-between matches. Whiteners can sometimes cause tooth sensitivity as well and may cause pain to cold, drinks, food. It should go away after awhile.

Scared For Teeth Whitening!!! All White 3000?
Hello, this is the scenario for me, im 17 years old and my teeth are very yellow due to the fact i smoke, eat junk and drink fizzy pop!! however ive quit smoking now for 6 months and eat sensibly and drink water only and alcohol on special occasions. I want to try the All White 3000 laser whitening clinic to get my teeth whitened, however ive got some questions: 1 - How old do you have to be? 2 - If teeth are in bad condition can you still get it done, bad condition meaning i have like 2 teeth that need fillings! 3 - Does it hurt? (People who've had it done to answer this obviously!) Last Question!!! : Has any1 actually been to All White 3000? If so, what was it like, any pain/discomfort? Also .. does anyone recomend any other good laser whitening places that are pain free and in the north east England preferably? This question means alot to me and your answers will be much, much appreciated.

I would recommend buying Crest WhiteStrips premium.....they're not nearly as expensive as a laser treatment yet they will give you the same result. I've been using them for three years (I use them about every six months or so, just to give my teeth an extra white-boost) and I get compliments on how white my teeth are ALL the time. It's good that you've quit smoking, that is a very important step in keeping your teeth white (as well as improving your overall health). Also, if you drink a lot of soda, try drinking it through a straw instead of straight from the can, that way, less of it will hit your teeth. I fell for the Everbright Teeth Whitening Scam. What can I do?
Unfortunately, I ended up doing the Everbright Teeth Whitening thing which was a scam. However, I realized it before the 10 day trial was up and promptly canceled (via phone) and sent the "kit" back. I found in the terms of the agreement though, that "if your not satisfied just return the whitening kit, even if it's empty..." So I just mailed back the empty box first class with confirmation to them and I still have about 5 days left on the trial so it should make it. Do you think they still will charge me because I kind of found a "loophole." Furthermore, I canceled the debit cards I used to purchase the product. I don't see how they actually could still charge me, what do you think?

I have read about this before I would imagine, since you covered your bases by sending back the kit and calling, you should be ok The nail in the coffin is canceling the debit card they would try to tap into when they want their monthly fee. If the card doesn't work, they aren't going to get any more money from you

I just had my teeth whitened yesterday with the zoom procedure and my dentist gave me trays and the syringes to put into the trays to keep in my mouth while i sleep. But the question is, how often do i put them in? My teeth were already white when the zoom was finished, and i put them in last night but i only have a limited supply before i have to buy more. So how often should i put them in?

Teeth whitening help?
Ive heard using tooth paste with bakeing soda can help whiten teeth, but how? What does it actuacy do? Can it be dangerous and how much should i use? Also do shop bought whiteners normaly just strip the 1st layer to try and get teeth back tot heir original state? Because i think i have always had quite yellow teeth and i dont think that will help, By doing it proffesionaly at a dentist will they bleach them?

Baking soda is the best natural thing to use, or peroxide toothpastes look for these in shops. Stronger than this will damage your teeth over time as their to abrasive. If you go to your dentist it will work a little but more than likely youll be very disappointed and left broke.

How to ease ZOOM teeth whitening pain?
my dentist told me to use sensodyne for a month. which i did. and now my ZOOM WHITENING appt is tomoro. i got my braces off last week. my teeth were already extremely sensitve. and now its still really sensitive. ive had my braces for 8 years so yes, i NEED to get it whitened and im willing to go through the pain. should i take tylenol a few hours before? and then a few hours afterwards? any gel? any mouthwash? as a dental nurse i would advise you do not get it done at all....the sensitivity will be a long term effect from the bleaching agent that is used to whiten teeth and can cause other problems as well

Our office uses Crest Supreme which are much stronger than what you can buy in a drugstore and don't cost that much more ($60.00). You can purchase the drugstore version, but do yourself of using them right after you get your teeth cleaned as any staining and buildup (tartar or plaque) will impede their ability to work. Also, don't use fluoride toothpaste before putting the strips on (same reason). The strips are probably your best low price alternative, much less than in office whitening or custom trays (about $500.00). Most whitening toothpastes just remove stain on the surfaces of your teeth. Why is my ortho not doing anything? cheap, teeth whitening remedies?
I've got messed up teeth. I've had braces since May 09. My teeth by my two front teeth do not have adult teeth, period. I got the babies removed. I got fake hooked onto m wire onto a bracket, but not permanently on my gums. That was in October. I got a bottom chain. Then, I got that taken off in December and so far I've just been getting bands changed, not even the wire, or tightenings. Why are they doing this and when will I get my permanent fake teeth in my gums? They told me I only have to wear my braces for 2 and a half years. I will get rubber bands. Does anyone know any whitening remedies and why one shouldn't use whitening strips with braces? Thanks.

If you use whitening strips with your braces on, you will just whiten your teeth around the braces and the tooth under the brackets will not be whitened. That is just common sense. You should not try to whiten you teeth at all while in braces, You will just mess up your teeth even more.

Teeth Whitening...suggestions needed?
Can anyone suggest a particular brand of white strips? Preferably ones you've actually used and that work well. I want to whiten my teeth, but I don't want to spend $30 on something that's not going to work. I'm thinking about the 2-hour whitening kit, but I can't remember who makes it.

Banana Peel For Whitening Teeth?
I recently looked up tips for effective ways to whiten teeth and i came across one that said the inside of a banana peel works very well. Can someone tell me how often to do this and to do this before or after brushing.

I would use baking soda and water paste instead becasue the granules of the baking soda create a scrub that is more efficient and beneficial. But if you must use a banana peel, just rub the peel in circular motions a couple times a week. I would definitely do it before brushing! Banana breath smells. but yeah. i would use baking soda

This really is a question that your dentist will be able to answer better than I. However, I use Mentadent (Whitening). I mean, even after all these years, my teeth still don't glow on their own in a dark room or under a blacklight, but they are slightly whiter than they were before I started using it. Hee Everyone, I thought about having my teeth done. But its very expensive but i found an alternative. Its really hard to get here (Holland) but i actually found a shop where i can buy it.
