besides those that you have to get from the dentist?

There are many teeth whitening products that work today. I recently had a ton of work done on my teeth including a bleaching compound that worked amazingly well. My dentist was blown away actually. My recommendation is to try some of the online offers. 2 that I know of is Easy White Labs and Teeth Whitening. Both offer Free trials

Is Listerine Whitening a safe way to whiten teeth?
If I use it morning and night before brushing for 60 seconds, is that safe? I only want to do it if it's safe and healthy for my teeth. When will I see results? I want noticably whiter teeth by March 19, which is just over ten weeks away. Will I see noticably whiter teeth by then? THANKS!

it's safe, In any case, it is used of hydrogen peroxide. The whitening ingredient used by most dentists. And, studies have shown no harmful effects on tooth enamel when used as directed. the site give me a lot of help, u can visit http://www.teethwhiteningbest.com/teeth-

What is better, $100 professional teeth whitening or Crest white strips?
The professional treatment only is a limited time offer though, so I need to act fast. Thanks!
--------------------
Over the counter whitening does work but it is not as great in strength as professional whitening. One series of white strips can improve the color of your teeth by up to 3 shades while professional whitening can be up to 3 times better. Also, because it is professionally supervised, you will experience less sensitivity, and less chance of burning your gums. I would definitely take advantage of this offer.

Teeth whitening can not lighten fillings, but can it remove stains that form on white fillings?
I have white fillings (like veneers they cover the front of my teeth, but are not porcelan, but the cheaper stuff the dentist uses, I think it's called agar?) Over time stains have developed on them, would a teeth whitening kit bought from the chemist or going to get it done at the dentist remove the stains even if it doesnt lighten the actual filling?
--------------------
That's not so, these whitening products are strictly for natural teeth, in fact they may discolor the filling material making it look worse. The best thing to do would be to bleach your natural teeth to a lighter shade, and redo your veneers. Your veneers aren't really supposed to stain like that, you may have recurrent decay underneath,it would be a good idea to visit your dentist.

What are the best "at home" teeth whitening strips? I am using the Listerine quick disslove ones and they are
the worst! They fall apart before you can even get them in your mouth, that is if you are able to get the package open!

I had a good experience with Crest White Strips. But they are nto as convenient as the Listerine strips, but they do the trick.

What is the best @-home teeth whitening kit?
I have a trip that I am going on and I need to get myself all pearly white soon! :-) I don't have a lot of money though. Which ones work the best and are affordable? How long does it take to get results? Thx
--------------------
CREST WHITE STRIPS PREMIUM guarenteed =) They cost about 45-50 dollars but are totally worth it since the results last about a year long and they start to work in about 3 days and dramatic results in a week.

Teeth whitening kits which is better?
So i want to buy a teeth whitening kit which is better ivory white or brite teeth. Result wise and how long it lasts.
--------------------
Over the Counter, I would recommend Crest Whitening Strips. There is one that is called premium, which will have the highest bleach concentration. The younger you are, the better the OTC whitening strips will work ie: teens. But if you really want the ultimate best bang for your buck, that would be to have bleaching trays made in a dental office. They should run you around $150 each tray (upper & lower) so about $300 total and they should include free bleaching syringes with your trays. Then if you need more bleach in the future for maintenance, the bleaching syringes are only like $30 for several syringes. I would HIGHLY recommend this route. The dental office bleach is so effective that once your teeth are the shade you'd like them to be, you almost never have to bleach for maintenance. I haven't bleached in over 2 years and my teeth still aren't back to their original color. You could also make your own trays with otc things from wal-mart in the dental section and then just buy the bleach @ a dental office. The dental office bleach strength is really what is the source of quality in getting it all done through a dental office. Good luck, email me if you have any further questions.

There are several types of products available for use at home. Some of these tooth whitening products can be easily purchased off the shelves of pharmacy while others are dispensed by your dentist. One popular tooth whitening product that you can use is bleaching solution that contains peroxide for bleaching tooth enamel. The bleaching agent in these products is usually carbamide peroxide, which is available in 10, 16 and 22 percent concentrations. Whiteners that contain peroxide typically come in gel form and are placed in a mouthguard. Some products are used twice a day for 2 weeks while others are intended for overnight use for a 1 to 2 weeks period. If you can obtain the bleaching solution from your dentist, he will be able to construct a custom mouth guard to fit your teeth precisely. Currently, the American Dental Association endorses only dentist-dispensed home-use percent carbamide peroxide tray-applied gels. In addition to bleaching solution, whitening strips are increasingly being used as a preferred tooth whitening product. For instance, you are now able to get your hands on a set of Crest Whitestrips Supreme from any convenience store. The flexible, invisible strips are coated with an enamel-safe tooth bleaching gel. To whiten your teeth, you simply place the strips on your teeth and wear them for about 15 to 30 minutes each day. After a period of about 21 days, you should be able to see a significant difference on the brightness of your teeth. For other effective home teeth whitening solutions, you may wish to read about them here : http://teeth-whitening.my-fashion-house.

Do over the counter teeth whitening products really ruin the enamel of your teeth?
The box of crest whitestrips says they're perfectly fine. Is this true?
--------------------
To some extent, yes they are fine. However constant use of the strips will eat away at the enamal covering your teeth. One box isn't going to do anything to the enamal though 4-5 boxes in under one year will.

Does teeth whitening products cause damage?
Has anyone experienced any negative dental effects from Over The Counter teeth whitening products? Such as toothpaste, strips, or gels?
--------------------
My dentist warns against them. They work by dissolving the enamel which has yellowed with exposure to food, beverages, etc., exposing whiter enamel underneath. Used often, eventually the enamel remaining is thin and the teeth become sensitive to heat, cold, even touch. He mentioned he's treating one patient, a woman in her thirties, who is having trouble eating normally because of over-whitening. All her food has to be room temperature.

Preparing to use at home teeth whitening kit?
Hi, i don't want my expensive crest whitening kit to work any less than it possible could so what can i do to my teeth so that the fluorite from tooth paste and such isn't interfering? For example using baking soda to brush before hand. I dont know. Answer me now!
--------------------
Brush your teeth with baking soda! It really works and is fast and cheap! Wet your toothbrush with some cold water and dip it into baking soda. All of the bristles should be covered so that your toothbrush is white. Brush your teeth for five minutes (spitting if necessary) two times a day. Spit the baking soda toothpaste out and rinse your mouth clean with water. If there is a tingling or burning feeling in your mouth, this is perfectly normal. Brushing your teeth twice a day can be monumental for the whitening of teeth, even without these tips & tricks; especially with a regular use of dental floss and mouthwash. Also brush your teeth day and night, if you feel like you need to brush your teeth after a meal then do it, and don't forget to rinse.

can teeth whitening damage your enamel?
I've been wondering, the same way bleaching your skin damages it overtime.. does the same thing occur with your enamel from whitening your teeth?? Since whitening your teeth is also known as bleaching them!
--------------------
YES!! because it is chemical bleaching! it is better to use natural options! for example this product - I do not know if any pharmacies carry it but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and if you want you can read more about the product here http://www.teethwhiten.com/splash.php?ai before I had no idea that it is possible to whiten my teeth without surgically bleaching them. I tried this product for a few days and they got whiter & brighter so quick that I was shocked. The best thing about this teeth whitening product is that its so easy to use. It only takes me a few minutes twice a day for a few days and then there white for months. I suggest to try this product because at this moment they have Risk Free Trial - so they send you sample for free and you don't have to buy it!

What is the best teeth whitening product out there?
What works the quickest?
--------------------
I got custom fitted trays from my dentist and I'm using their professional white trays. It's worked better than any of the over the counter whitening strips. I have used Crest White strips which tend to slip around a lot & Rembrandt strips. I know the fitted trays with professional whitenener have worked very quickly and the results are the best I've ever had. See if you can get them done at your dentist office where they can make you whitening trays or look into Zoom whitening which is definitely the quickest way to whiten your teeth! Good luck. Edit: It only ruins your teeth if you overdo it. Don't whiten your teeth more than twice a year. If you have sensitivity and most people do, try to whiten every other day until you finish.

Whitening of teeth with a tray custom made by dentist?
Can anyone give feedback of whitening their teeth using this method. Ie the dentist creates a custom shaped tray and fluid is placed in tray. The tray is placed in mouth for a certain period every day until the desired result achieved. Were you happy with the result? Particularly, has anyone experienced teeth sensitivity as a result? If so, how long did it last?
--------------------
From the perspective of a dentist who has performed this procedure on many patients, the results are very noticeable especially if the teeth have a yellow appearance. About 10-15 % of the patients develop some sensitivity from the material but most often this can be cleared up by stopping the bleaching for a week or so and using fluoride on the teeth. Good luck with your whitening.

If you are referring to Online teeth whitening websites which offer free trails etc, then I would suggest you please keep away from them. Most if not all are scams. More importantly, they will simply use your credit card information which you give to swipe you clean.
