Teeth Whitening question with Peroxide?
Alright after reading all the posts about baking soda whitening teeth Im starting to try it, but I also heard that if you swish hydrogen peroxide before you brush that dramatically helps as well? Does this work or is it dangerous and shouldnt be tried? Normal CVS hydrogen peroxide is what I have

I always advise my patients to cut the peroxide 50/50 with water. Tooth whitening gels contain carbamide peroxide which "sticks" to the teeth better. When it breaks down, it forms urea and H2O2. Interestingly, carbamide peroxide has been available as a treatment for mouth sores for years, packaged as Gly-Oxide.

Teeth whitening franchise....a good investment?
Hi, I am thinking of adding more strings to my bow....basically i need to make more money!!! LOL. I am thinking about investing in a teeth whitening franchise. The prices for the training, equipment and franchises really vary and it is a little confusing! Plus there seem to be lots of companies out there. why did two of my teeth start to hurt really bad when i was whitening them??
it was like a really sharp bad unbearable pain and i almost started screaming. i have this gel stuff in this tube and it is called 5 minute whitening. i've used it before with no problem, but this time was different. i always put it on for about 20 minutes instead of just 5 because i want my teeth to be white for school tomorrow. i was just sitting there on my couch watching t.v. with the gel on a paper towel folded over my teeth and like, in a split second there was hecka pain. now, whenever i bite down, they hurt a little as if i was eating/drinking something really hot/cold. (i have sensitive teeth) . that's the perfect way to describe the pain.... it was as if i was biting full on to an ice cream bar for a second to long. have you ever felt that?? it sucks!! did i leave the whitener on way too long? thanks for any help... oh. also, so i don't use another 5 points on a question... does anybody know of a way to replace the screen on a samsung glyde? or have any suggestions on where to take it to get it fixed? thanks. =]

Baking soda is ok, but not effective in getting a good level of whiteness. Crest White Strips are very good... I've used those many times. Also, Hollywood Smile, Sexy Smile... they are equally good too.

What is the best way to whiten teeth?
Hey everybody, I was wondering what sort of options i had when it came to teeth whitening. My teeth aren't really yellow or anything, but antibiotics when i was young has left my teeth stained. Is there a certain age you have to be to get your teeth whitened? Does that go for any other stuff dental?

To be safe I would visit your dentist first. They can tell you if it's okay for you to whiten. It can make your teeth sensitive. If you use too much you can burn your gums. The most effective products are the ones you get from your dentist. They are safe when used under your dentist's supervision.

Will tooth-whitening strips hurt if you have a cavity or exposed nerve?
I doubt I have either of those things, as I just had a great check-up. But I've had problems with tooth sensitivity and gum recession in the past. I remember reading years ago that that tooth-whitening stuff that you brush onto your teeth (I'm not sure if they make it anymore) REALLY hurts if you have tooth problems that you don't know about. Is the same true for the whitening strips?

Clinic? sometimes there light doesn't work.. my uncle did that and it made his teeth more yellow. I think there is a reason why companies are coming out with the stripes and stuff like that. Personally I think you should go with the Listerine Stripes. They dissolve in your mouth. You can use them anywhere and anytime!
