Is it normal after getting your teeth whitened (by zoom!) to feel electroshock's in your teeth?

I recently just got zoom whitening done to my teeth, but after having it done ive been getting this sharp pain all through my teeth, like a electroshock. Is this normal??

Teeth whitening can cause sensitivity. So it could be that you are feeling. Does it get worse if you eat something cold or very hot? Or if you're out in the cold air and open your mouth? If so, it's probably just that.
